“If you love Indian food with a twist this is your new place. The food was so good.Chicken Hand Briyani is amazing. the best curry I have had so far in St. louis is Chicken rara. They also have a pretty good Drinks the service was very attantive. Loo forward to having dinner here again.“
“High quality food! Definitely try Chicken butter and lamb biryani. The biryani comes in with big chunks of boneless lamb. It was a bit different from biryanis we tried in other restaurants (good different). Order Nan with chicken butter and try it. Very creamy! We also ordered wing as appetizers. That was also delicious. We went there on a week day and I think it was crowded than expected. So if you are planning to go there on weekend, make sure to reserve a table.“
“We had the buffet, it was very delicious! The mocktails were okay, they tasted like Juice. We had the Virgin Pina Colada which tasted just like pineapple juice,we also tried papaya blueberry drink(mocktail) and tasted like it's from a can.The alcoholic beverages section was huge,it's seems like worth the shot. I'll definitely be coming back for the food and alcoholic beverages! The ambiance was so nice! The service was great!“
“Very clean place.Food is traditional.Taste is authentic.Size of Dosa is king-size!!Sambhar taste is out of this world. The owners are short sleeved..they know and do all aspect of their food items.Staff is super friendly.I have been going there since opening date. You want short meeting w friends or business. have coffee, masala chai w side snacks like Samosa, vada etc...you can be in/out in 30 minutes if you want to.Price is $ as compared to other restaurants $$ or $$$Vegetarian options: They could offer more veggie itemsin lunch combo“
“I went here with my friend who's a fan of Indian cuisine and mentioned this place is good. This Indian restaurant is not like any other Indian restaurant in STL, the street food on the menu is typical of North Indian cuisine, it's unique and filled with flavor. I ordered the Dahi Papdi Chaat and it was an experience in itself, I've never seen a more random combination of ingredients in one dish but they definitely made it work! The dish was crunchy, creamy, sweet, and spicy all at once. The workers were really friendly and everything about the restaurant was appealing.“
“Great vegetarian only restaurant with delicious food and friendly service. Got the Paneer Tikka Masala with Chili Cheese Naan & Vegetable Chili Garlic Noodles with Manchurian Gravy (which were all fantastic recommendations by our server Varun).“
“My girlfriend and I went here for the first time a few months ago and since then we’ve probably gone 40-50 times. One week we went five days in a row because it’s so high quality and flavorful. I do chicken reviews on another platform and this place has scored the highest rating I’ve ever given. 9.7/10 clucks. I’ve been to ≈300 other places specifically for chicken and the chicken tikka kebab from here is the best I’ve ever had. Runners up are Grace Meat + Three, Kimchi Guys, and O! Wing Plus.Anyway - I couldn’t recommend this place enough. It’s a MUST try even if you’re an hour away. Neville or Raj will take care of you and they’re the best in the business.“
“This is some of the BEST food my family and I have EVER HAD! The customer service is impeccable and the cleanliness of the entire restaurant is top shelf! Prices are Perfect for any family with children. Don’t hesitate, try it Now!!! Your #1 Fan ?“
“Dinner was so delicious that I have to share.Started w vegetable samosas, then shrimp Malabar mild and lamb madras medium. All perfectly cooked.Am always impressed w their white rice that is ever so slightly flavored.Service always good. Thanks Saffron for another great meal!!“
“Food is delicious! You will like this place if you like your Indian/ Pakistani food on the spicy side. I was there for a fundraiser where they served lunch and the women at my table were commenting how the food was tasty and flavorful. I especially enjoyed the chicken - wish I had gotten seconds ?“
“Fantastic veggie korma. Rice/naan were on point too. Like they know they good so didn’t even ask me if it was good after I took a few bites. Lol. They have an air of confidence; I love it.Mild can still be a tad spicy, but still not too much. Great unassuming spot..which we all know are usually the best.I live in Chicago, eat Indian all the time, and will most def be back here my next work trip to the STL.“
“I had ordered Goat Fry Biryani online as I didn’t had much time but once I had biryanj it was hot, with the aroma and flavors far exceeding my expectations. The rice was fluffy, the goat meat tender and flavorful, and the spices perfectly balanced, making every bite a delightful experience . Much recommended ?.“
“Pretty solid. Was our first time having Indian, so this was a new experience. We got the dinner for 2, the soup was super good! The chicken tikka masala and the lamb curry was nice, though my lamb had a super crunchy bit that I couldn’t tell what it was. Not as spicy as I was hoping for but I was happy. The rice pudding they gave wasn’t very good, had a muted taste. The bread was excellent. Service was okay, the servers weren’t very chatty and we had like 4 different people checking in. Kind of an awkward experience. Would definitely get carry out or go again!“
“Came here on a Friday night and had their Buffet. We really enjoyed the selections and liked special seasonings that gave a nice touch. The people took away our dishes almost as soon as we finished the plate which is quite impressive. There is not much decorations that says Indian. But food is great!“
“I usually give starts to quality of food and service. For this restaurant it is definitely 5! We tried its garlic, orange and cashew chicken. All were super delicious. Since it was our first visit, we didn’t know how the restaurant looked like. I think it is better if you order ahead of time and pick up your food. The restaurant is small and probably some might not find it comfortable to dine in. The staff were nice. They kindly told us about the delay in preparing our order. We were 5 with a toddler and 3 dishes were more than enough.Dietary restrictions: They serve halal chicken“
“The food here is amazing I'm not sure if it's authentic Indian but if feels like it is. Their naan bread and curries are my favorite it's also not much more expensive eating out here then anywhere else affordable and enjoyable.I got take out from here a lot during the pandemic. Highly recommend!“
“The dining room had be closed for a while but is now reopened. This is my family's favorite Indian restaurant. Owned by the same family for all the years we've been coming here. Always great to find a family owned and operated business to support, and the food is great too. If you've never tried Indian I recommend the lunch buffet so you can try a bit of everything. Glad to see they survived covid.“
“We came here for lunch after my original review and noticed that they either changed their cleaning solutions or diluted it a hit because even when they were cleaning the table right next to us we couldn't smell anything. The food was, as usual, very good and the service was friendly.“
“Our first time in. Excellent food and service! The only negative is the tables are way too close together. We had a party of 4 and was seated in a booth it was a very tight space for all of us, was extremely uncomfortable. We will be back but will for sure request a table, not a booth.“
