“While I'll still recommend it...I did go to the Twin Oaks location tonight and they had taken the adult grilled cheese with tomato soup off the menu. 😢😢😢 I just had it there a few weeks ago. They had also taken the zucchini appetizer off the menu. Everything I went there to order is not completely off the menu. And there isn't a suitable substitute. I hope you'll consider bringing those back.“

“We had my niece’s 25th birthday here and I was a fabulous party. We asked for Becky to serve us which she always does with exuberant smiles and attention. Matt, Satchmo’s owner, was here and mingled with us like any bar/restaurant should. As a chef, this tells me volumes of how he runs his establishment. I religiously order the pork green chili(which is phenomenal) and the fish and chips were to die for, exactly how I like it. This place is the quintessential neighborhood bar!“

“Once we were sat, it took us asking 15 minutes later if we had a server. Over an hour from the seating time until the food was delivered, which wasnt even hot. We then weren't approached by a server until after we were done. No offer for condiments, water or drink refills, etc. The server did apologize as she was returning with our receipts, saying how somebody was sent home early and then they got busy. We were sat by 5:30, how can you possibly think it's not going to get busier? Just absolutely terrible management.“

“Went on a Saturday evening at the Mid Rivers location. Wait time was around 20 minutes. Host was friendly. Waitress was wonderful, interaction was great. I had the Bourbon Street Ribeye. Compliments to the cook that was on that evening. Came out sizzling and cooked perfectly, one of the better steaks I've had in a while.

“The very best cocktails I have had in awhile! I love that it is local. The old fashioned was one of the best I have ever had. The encrusted chop, salmon, and filet are my favorites.“

“We ordered the sweet and spicy wings, pretzel, Cajun chicken pasta, and the buffalo chicken wrap. Everything was okay. It’s something to come to chill, eat, and catch up with a friend. Nothing really stood out as super delicious. I might come back to try their burgers. The wing sauce was good, but the chicken itself was a bit overcooked. The pasta was really saucy (which was a bonus), but it lacked flavor. The pretzel was actually good! Super soft and I like that it had 2 sauces. The wrap could have been warmed on the outside and a better proportion of ingredients on the inside. Our server was nice!“

“I was with a big group (14U baseball team). I didn't eat because Dogwood has no real vegan options. I could ordered the hummus plate but that isn't too appetizing. This is the 2nd year we've gone to Dogwood and I couldn't eat. It would be nice if they offered one dish that was clearly marked as being vegan (and not just vegetarian).

The large space and games were great. The kids had a good time after a long and hot day of baseball. The food everyone had looked really good. My wife got the hummus plate but it didn't amount to much.

What I really wanted to say was how awesome our server was. She was outstanding and managed the large group so well! I don't know how she did it. I wish I knew her name. She was there 6/28/25 around noontime. Excellent service!“

“I had lunch at Halftime yesterday and the food was wonderful. The special of the day was a Smashburger, homemade chips and a salad. I also shared some southwest chicken rolls as an appetizer. The southwest chicken rolls are always great, but I really loved the Smashburger and homemade chips. The chips had a really tasty seasoning on them. Apparently, this meal was a special only and not on the everyday menu, but it should be. Everything was delicious and our server was great.“

“The place was packed! Only saw one waitress working the whole place. Sheri was like a little tinkerbell, remembering my name and what I liked to drink. Food service was a bit slow but under the circumstances, I was pleased I got what I ordered and it was hot. The band was fun and encountered a welcoming atmosphere. I decided I wanted a piece of cheesecake to go after she gave us the receipt in the folder and she never came back for me to tell her. I asked another server who directed me to the bar. Ordered and it took ten minutes to get it. Normally I wouldn’t mind but we had my MIL with us in her wheelchair. It came and was the Tiniest piece of cheesecake I’ve ever been served for $10 😳. I would recommend skipping dessert and go buy a whole cheesecake at Dierbergs next door for the same price and less wait.“
