“As a long time customer of the Posh Nosh, I have to say the service, atmosphere , and food is impressive. The Rachel is my go to sandwich, however , any sandwich will satisfy any palate. The Matzo Ball soup and Chile are two of my favorites as well. Kudos to the new owner for sprucing up the restaurant.“

The only complaint is I can’t have them on Sunday! :( We’ve tried to go back to other sandwich shops on a Sunday and it never compares to Gioia’s. “I haven’t had a good hot pastrami since I was a kid growing up in University City. Husband was in the hospital across the street and the nurse recommended Carls hot pastrami. It did not disappoint. It was delicious!!“

“This is a great spot for breakfast or lunch in the city. We were staying close by and saw good reviews. rather than paying $30 for breakfast at our hotel we had two wonderful breakfast wraps which were amazing and the bread was much more substantial than a typical wrap. You are close to the Arch so whether you are staying in the area or visiting the Arch and looking for a meal I highly recommend! Only disappointment was when we returned with our friends on Saturday they were closed. Since it appeared to be family run and with the city so quiet on the weekends, in our observation, I am guessing that is the reason.“

“Gioia’s is one of my favorites when I passed through St. Louis. Their roast beef and hot salami sandwich. You will not be disappointed by this sandwich. Also let me encourage you buy one of the salami logs to put in the crockpot. Follow the directions and make your own salami sandwiches at home. It’s amazing!“

“Traveling and found a gyro place, and I'm very glad I stopped! Great gyro (and I grew up near a huge Greek population, so I know good Greek food). The tzatziki sauce was homemade and very very good. The staff was really great, they were very friendly and helpful. Also got a chocolate chip cookie which I definitely recommend. If you're looking for Greek food,this place is great!“

“Good Italian style sandwich shop. They don’t make them like this much anymore. I ordered two sandwiches (enough to feed 2-3 people) both were good with no complaints. Not my all time favorite sandwich shop, BUT not to dang bad guys! Hands down better than any chain places in both quality and value. Tasty bread too. Which is a must for a good sandwich. I will definitely be back, while Zanti’s won’t replace my favorite sandwich shop that’s near and dear to my heart, this will be definitely be my replacement for Jimmy John’s and jersey mikes for sure! I suggest everyone make the switch if considering.“

“This place is worth seeking out! They are so friendly and helpful. The bagel and lox was generous and delicious. What a great menu and such awesome pastries. We misjudged our time and ate and left really quickly. I wish we could have stayed and enjoyed the place longer. We left quickly but someone chased us to the parking lot to give us 3 gigantic and delicious chocolate chip cookies, for free! I can't wait to come back!“

“I work walking distance from Parker’s table and seen that they sold candy. When I walked in I had such an amazing experience! The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. This is my favorite place to go for lunch.“

“I ordered the corned beef sandwich with french fries and a pickle spear. I received a thick stack of corned beef which was nice. The corned beef had more fat in it than I like. The french fries were not cooked enough. I could tell by the color then confirmed when I bit into them. The french fries did not have the crunchy texture although they were seasoned well. I received great service at the bar. The restaurant has a fun vibe to it. They have a very large parking lot in front of the restaurant.“
