“As a long time customer of the Posh Nosh, I have to say the service, atmosphere , and food is impressive. The Rachel is my go to sandwich, however , any sandwich will satisfy any palate. The Matzo Ball soup and Chile are two of my favorites as well. Kudos to the new owner for sprucing up the restaurant.“

“This place is amazing! The atmosphere is all blues and the history of blues. The food is that of a St. Louis Deli, with some New Orleans added for those who want to live a little extra! I had a Muffulatta it was a single serving and that was plenty enough! They also several it in half or whole sizes. That should feed a family. My friend had the Creole Deluxe PoBoy. That was also delicious! I highly recommend this deli!“

“I haven’t had a good hot pastrami since I was a kid growing up in University City. Husband was in the hospital across the street and the nurse recommended Carls hot pastrami. It did not disappoint. It was delicious!!“

“We had a long layover in STL, so we decided to experience the Arch. This place is walking distance from there and such a great spot to recouporate from traveling! A short ten minute walk from the Arch and you're able to get fresh food, great coffee and the classic Midwest friendliness from staff. I highly recommend it!“

“Always the best sandwich’s, especially my favorite, the salami. The hoagie bun compliments everything perfectly and holds up the way a bun should. Only thing better than this sandwich is the Italian Sausage Soup. This soup is a religious experience. If you haven’t had it you need to. The Maryland Heights location is just a pickup location so that’s why atmosphere gets a neutral 3 stars. The staff was efficient and friendly, checked to make sure I got everything.“

“This Deli is a hidden gem in the Riverport complex. They are only open for lunch. Everything on the menu is good; gyros, subs, rice bowls and wraps. The price is only slightly more than Subway but the quality of ingredients is much better. Monday is often free cookie day. They have ample dining room inside but you can also eat outside on the patio.“

“We did a catering order. The food was great and was ready at the promised pick-up time. We got the turkey, roast beef, chicken salad, and tuna salad small rolls / crossoint. Good food at a reasonable cost. The cookies were also terrific!“

“What a neat little spot! The food was amazing, great portions, helluva price, and they have the nicest staff! Christine served our family, it was our first time here (we’re from out of town). Christine made sure our food came out quickly and correctly. She never let our drinks get less than half full. She checked to make sure the food was as delicious for us as it looked. Christine was attentive, kind, funny, and efficient. Lester’s, you’ve got a GEM of a worker on your hands. Much love to Christine!
