“Haven't been back to St. Louis for awhile and knew we needed to go to The Crossing for dinner. Jim Fiala and his team hits it out of the park in every way. 3 courses paired with wine and each spot on. Last time there we brought our own wine as it was a special bottle. No problem as long as it wasn't on their list and the wine cellar is extensive. If you want an extraordinary dining experience please go.“

“Had a great experience from beginning to end. Cocktails were a twist on classics and were fun and delicious. We tried the crab cakes and to my delight they were not all filler. The surf and turf frankfurter was awesome as well as the salmon. I didn't try the steak but my friend said it was delicious. Service was very friendly and had great suggestions. Will definitely be back“

“The staff is outstanding…so warm and welcoming and just all around great! Food is outstanding with so many tasty options to choose from. Don’t miss out on the trout amandine and those amazing pomme frites!!! A wonderful menu of cocktails and wine, too. To close out the dinner, try the floating island. It’s pure heaven!“

“The Avenue came highly recommended and lived up to its reputation. I joined my siblings for lunch here. The staff was friendly and attentive. The lunch menu was expansive and delicious. I recommend the pear cocktail and manhattan winter. W enjoyed the French on Mon soup, beet salad, penne with mushrooms, schnitzel sandwich, and classic creme bruise.“

“Excellent service, food was delicious. I had the turkey club with pub chips. Delicious. My friends had the French onion soup, Mayfair salad, the chicken with brussel sprouts and roasted potatoes. I tasted the brussel sprouts. They were amazing!“

“I think this may be my new favorite restaurant in St. Louis. The ambience alone is absolutely beautiful, but combine that with amazing food and impeccable service and you have a winner. Best oysters I’ve ever had, and those Gruyère puffs are insanely good. I had the Bavette steak, and my husband had the chicken cordon bleu… Incredible! You cannot miss out on the drinks; the cocktails are so good and the spritz hour is a great deal. Highly recommend!“
