First Watch Reviews
Had brunch with my son today and I typically don’t write reviews. However, my experience was fantastic. The server we had was sweet and efficient. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. I loved the decor it was very modern mixed with rustic elements. The food was so good and I could feel the difference in my body afterward.. not the crappy fast food feeling but energizing!
The server I had was named Alyse and I want to give her a shoutout for an all-round amazing job!...read full review

First Watch is a popular breakfast and brunch destination known for its delicious menu offerings. The "The Works" omelette and cheese grits are standout dishes, while the coffee and produce-focused story behind their menu items are also highlights. Though it can get busy, the restaurant offers convenient seating and an accessible south location. Customers praise the great food and service, though note the noisy atmosphere when the restaurant is full. Recently, visitors enjoyed the seasonal menu with Brussels Sprouts, appreciated the large pot of coffee left at the table, and found the service to be quick and friendly. The open space, with seats at the bar and many tables, makes it a great spot, especially in a college town where reservations via the app are recommended. The food is fresh, with waffles full of fruit and well-cooked Farmhouse Hash, keeping diners satisfied until dinner. Staff like Joanna are praised for their quick and attentive service, especially for guests with dietary restrictions, with good options for salads or fruit sides.
While the food remains excellent, some customers noted that service can be a little slow, but this allows more time to chat and enjoy the meal. The restaurant can get quite busy, especially on weekend mornings and afternoons during the school year, such as after a football game or during family weekend. The acoustics sometimes make it loud, making conversations harder to hear and requiring diners to speak louder. Despite this, many find First Watch to be an overall enjoyable place to have breakfast or brunch, with friendly staff and fresh, tasty food that keeps many coming back.
