Very friendly and community oriented!
January 17, 2025 was my 1st time at this establishment in Columbia, Missouri. They weren't busy at all with plenty seating. For some reason, They sat us at the bar and didnt allow us to choose an area to sit. Although the food was good. I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service at your Columbia, Missouri location on January 15, 2025. The service was slow, disorganized, and unprofessional—our drinks took an excessive amount of time to arrive, our food took over 30 minutes, and it was served cold. Additionally, the staff seemed inattentive and confused during payment, and I was not given a receipt, leaving my group and me extremely frustrated and unlikely to return.

Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux in Columbia, MO offers a delightful dining experience with a lively atmosphere, making it a top spot to catch a game. With 78 TVs throughout the restaurant, guests can enjoy every play from any seat. The menu features a variety of dishes, including red beans and rice with andouille sausage, gumbo, sweet chili glazed salmon with sautéed green beans, and donut bread pudding, which is often regarded as the best bread pudding ever. The food is loaded with flavor, with many Cajun options that really hit the spot.
The staff is friendly and attentive, contributing to a welcoming environment. One customer enjoyed the jalapeño burger, noting the fried jalapeños had a great heat level and the burger was juicy. Another customer praised the bacon cheeseburger and fresh, well-seasoned waffle fries, even though they wished for a crispier texture. The onion rings also received compliments for their seasoning, and the beignet bites were described as warm and very delicious.
While many reviews highlight the quality of the food, some mention that the restaurant is currently understaffed, leading to longer waits and cold food at times. Despite these issues, Walk-On's remains a great choice for a satisfying meal, especially for those looking to enjoy good eats and drinks with friends.
