Normally, I enjoy the Taco Salad in a Fried shell, my favorite, but wanted to explore the shrimp 🍤 and Chicken served on a sizzling oven plate. The Shrimp and Chicken with mushrooms far surpassed my expectations. Best of all, I talked to Scott and meet Sergio with the El Tio Pepe family all there helping and smiling. Thank you, again. “All it took was one visit here for us to know this was our new absolute favorite spot to eat! While my husband and I highly recommend the street tacos, my mother-in-law got the tamales and said they were “the best tamales ever!” We adore the staff here as well. Juan “Paco” is our FAVORITE! He is so sweet and kind. He remembered us the second we walked through the door! You can tell they love what they do there. Of course, don’t forget to grab a dessert (or 2!) while you’re there! The flan is my favorite, my husband loves the pina colada tres leches and then my kids love the red velvet cake!“

When I say every person who has ever waited on us at Dos has been kind, prompt, attentive, even observant of our needs, this would be an understatement. No matter how busy they are you will never feel like you are in the way or that you are forgotten. The food is amazing!! I’ve never had a bad meal here. I got the Al Pastor street tacos as a combo. It comes with a drink, rice, beans, and 3 tacos, 6 if you eat them right.

To get all of this at the quality I did for $13 is insane.

Please come give it a try as I don’t see a lot of traffic here when I pass by, and I think if people try they will be back!!!“

I got a california burrito without red sauce that was amazing. It was covered in this cheesy dip that flooded the plate. My friend ordered something similar over rice that was amazing as well. My picky 10 year old ordered nachos but didn't realize they came with guacamole, sour cream, refried beans AND the cheese sauce so she wasn't happy. They also came with ground beef AND chicken. The beans and beef were not seasoned very well but the chicken side was fire!! The other girl got a combo plate with a taco and burrito. Our tab was $65. I would definitely recommend and return.“

“I really enjoy this place. Get their food 2-3x a week since it opened. Usually my go to, but lately the taco meat has been very bland for about a month now. Hopefully they return to the old recipe because they had the best tasting food in St. Peters as far as Mexican food. We've tried just about everything and its all been fantastic until recently.“

“We surprised our son for his 40th birthday. Most guests arrived early and were served drinks and chips while waiting for the guest of honor. Our waiter was so kind and efficient. He checked on us constantly while still respecting our chattering. We were at his table a long time and he never acted exasperated or frustrated. Food came out quick and was absolutely wonderful. We all ordered something different and we’re able to try different dishes. All very tasty!“

“I had three bad experiences at global quesadilla on 141 and Clayton The first time I went in there they told me they don't accept cash. the second time I went in I got a quesadilla, some chips, and queso. the queso tasted awful. it tasted like warmed up canned cheese or something. I'd buy at the gas station but not the hot stuff in the dispenser that tasted better. And to be honest, there's nothing special about the quesadillas for the ingredients that go into it, the amount of time it takes to make and what they're charging for it. I find it ridiculous. if it's not going to taste good it should be cheap. at that point I'd rather make them at home. my third bad experience is a as a doordasher. after confirming the name of my customer, I proceeded to include my business card. global quesadilla doesn't own that food. that food was paid for by my customer. they have no right to tell me I can't put a business card with the food. the employee proceeds to yell at me multiple times to hand the food back to which I responded no twice and started walking out of the store. he proceeded to follow me out of the store continuing to yell at me and I had to tell him multiple times to back up/go inside / leave me alone. and if he touched me there's going to be a problem I shouldn't be in fear for my physical safety going into any establishment. they were also rude and unprofessional the first day I went in trying to pay with cash. how they've handled themselves multiple times is completely unacceptable. there's a reason why I only ate the food once. if I want Mexican food I'll make it myself or go to Taco Bell or a sit-down Mexican restaurant.“

“One of my favorite places for lunch. The Kirkwood location has a really fun arcade room sure to make any gathering for any ages unique and interesting. The street corn, margaritas, empanadas and three piggies burrito are my favorites!“

“The only reason I did not give it a full 5 stars was due to the male cashier at this location. I had quite a few teenage boys that were indecisive but respectful. I was informing the cashier male what all each child as well as myself had ordered. Instead of him listening he decided to input what he wanted into the system and ended up over charging me for something. In addition, I was inquiring about a military discount, he had no interest in helping or doing what he could do to honor a veteran.
On the other hand, a young lady name Diamond went ABOVE AND BEYOND the customer service expectations. She was the only one that greeted us upon entry. She made sure she got fresher ingredients to serve us, she managed to help and assist each of the teenagers even though they did not know what they wanted to order. In addition, once I came to her with me being over charged, she apologized on the male cashier behalf and corrected the situation and gave me the necessary items that I was charged for instead of what I was given. She also came by and asked if the food was good and if we needed anything further. She was truly amazing even under pressure and I really appreciate that. The young man that was in the register, he actually went to his car for 10 minutes and came back smelling like marijuana and did not wash his hands which was rather disrespectful, which I’m sure is why he could not focus on what I was telling him to charge me for.“

“We were VERY skeptical after having read through the reviews but we gave it a shot and it turned out well. The kid making the food was very nice and respectful and the birria bowl was good. There wasn't a TON of meat but you can get more for an upcharge. The only reason I may do that next time is because I had so many toppings, which isn't a bad thing. All and all it was a good experience. We will definitely be back. The only thing that would make it better is if they brought back the Mexican gumbo (now THAT was amazing!) :-)“
