“I know this place is family owned and they treat you as such! Great food and Fantastic Margaritas!Kid-friendliness: The design of the seating gives a private feel and keeps the sound minimal amongst visitors.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking is available and a very short walk to the door.“
“Great service, very nice staff. But most importantly GREAT food. The Taco supremos, deep fried peta bread shell, was FIRE. Literally the best taco I have ever had. The shell was super flavorful and the pico on top was perfectly mixed. Queso dip was also top tier. All around 10/10.“
“Addl always, the food and service was stellar. Normally there is a nice wait but I guess we got lucky last night! Hostess was very friendly and had no problem fulfilling my request for a booth only. The table they sat us at was very clean and neat, even the floor. We waiting less than 5 mins to get our drinks and about 19 for Reg food which wasn't bad at all. For consumption: Frozen Mango Margarita, Sangria, Shrimp Quesadilla, El Jalisco & Steak Fries. Everything was great! My only wish is that the quesadilla cheese was melted.“
“We went for my wife's birthday. We had a private room. The food and service was great. We brought a cake and they did have a issue with that brought out plates and forks for us. We had 7 people in the party and everyone enjoyed there mealThanks for hosting our party“
“Are you hungry? Do you want to try something new and different? Do you enjoy great service? If yes…stop what you are doing and visit Jalisco Pizza. Although a small establishment…you won’t be disappointed. Today we visited for the first time and will be back. We dined in and enjoyed the hot wings with several sauces, pizza (half pepperoni/half crab) and complimentary dessert. When I say this food is good…it’s an understatement. Fresh quality ingredients are tasted in every bite. Equal to the food was the service we received from the owner and his little helper. Top notch service from a man who is trying to make it. He made recommendations and listened to our feedback. Very humble and will to do what it takes to provide an exceptional dining experience. The only thing I would change is the crispness of the pizza crust…but that’s a personal preference. So if you’re in the area or don’t mind traveling to St. Charles county, consider Giving them a try.“
“Amazing. The management is awesome. 3 different managers stopped by our table to check on us during our last visit. The server was funny and welcoming. The establishment itself is huge and really authentic feeling. And the food is always awesome. As a former bar/restaurant manager I am usually pretty critical of restaurants I dine at. This place is a 10/10“
“One of the better Mexican restaurants I've been to in St. Louis. My daughter has this love for birria tacos so we stopped here for lunch after her volleyball tournament. We both got the Birria Tacos, along with a few a la cart Street Tacos and it was delicious. Though I don't remember the taco I had with pineapple it was one of my favorite street tacos. If you are looking for a solid place for Mexican food then make sure you stop here.“
“2 words, SO GOOD! Just finished what is probably my hundredth meal from here and I have never been disappointed. I have officially had everything on the menu. Additionally, talk about consistency, they have nailed it. Food quality is always on point and there is always a friendly smile to greet me. If you are looking for a new family owned and operated business to check out, you just found it. You will not be disappointed.“
“My wife and I visited this restaurant for a last minute dinner. We had a really good first time experience. The food was delicious and the service was top tier! We've always wanted to visit and we are happy we did! We will be back often!“
“Amazing service, even better food.I’ve been to countless taquerias in St Louis. The Al Pastor tacos are some the best, if not the best, tacos I’ve had in the St Louis area. Every time I could here I am blown away.A must stop for anyone who appreciates a good taco“
“If you’re looking for AUTHENTIC Mexican food, look no further! This place is AMAZING, I’m a Midwest transplant from California. No one does Tacos like Durangos in STL. Then go next door to the markéta, and its like being home! If you’re like me, when you miss home go here and order yourself 4 carne asada tacos (the right way) with a Corona and watch the homesickness float away..“
“Must visit the place. 5 stars for food and 5 stars for a great service. I'm a out of towner and this was my 1st time here. My server treating me as if I was one of their veteran to this place. The asada tacos were so good, I asked 2 more to take it to go.Price is affordable and food is wonderful. Love my server, wish I remember her name, and place was clean. Clean place, greate food, kind server, it's rare to find a place that has all three. I travel a lot from states to states. This is a must visit place.“
“I had a great time with my son at Chevy's ! Me and my son came for a dinner together and the service was lovely! The manager Curtis even said grace with us. Our server Luz was very sweet and and polite. Curtis kept checking on us to make sure our night was going well. Would come “
“My husband has been eyeing this place for a bit and today we finally decided to give it a shot. The staff was very friendly and helpful! My husband ordered the steak torta and horchata. I ordered the chicken quesadilla with a tamarin drink. This was literally the best chicken quesadilla I've ever had, super filling. It was so good I forgot to take a picture. We grabbed an order of the churros after seeing a raving review about them. As well as four popsicles to go (Oreo, coffee tequila, strawberry cream, and watermelon). I highly recommend this place, we will definitely be back.“
“Visited twice, dishes we've had so far: The deep fried red snapper, burrito, chicken empanadas, mole (very good!), tacos, and guacamole. In general, the dishes are tasty. We really enjoyed the red snapper and mole, unique from the typical "mexican" fare in St. Louis (mushy stuff covered in slimy cheese). The mole sauce and tacos are flavorful, the rest of the dishes are well presented, generous portions, and fresh ingredients, maybe a bit on the bland side. The red and green salsas that come with the chips are fresh--the first time we had them, they had more spicy kick and stronger flavor, the second visit they were dialed down--each batch must come out a little different. They make their own margarita sour--it's delicious!! Has a hint of ginger, comes in 2 jar sizes, large and larger! The space is kinda like a diner/neighborhood bar & grille--it's spacious and clean. Highly recommended! I hope they expand their traditional dishes and offer more vegetarian options. Also, some extra hot choices for us spice addicts.“
“We was looking for a new ice cream place and stumbled upon this cute little place. Staff was friendly. We didn't end up getting ice cream ?. We got tacos and cheese fries and fruit dish covered in sweet cream bionco. We'll definitely be back. It was a tasty lil meal and treat.“
“Impressive! Wile many of the local Mexican restaurants are pretty much the same, this one really stands out. Great presentation, tasty salsa and I was delighted that they offer the spoon cornbread! That stuff is super hard to find. This is my new go-to. Thanks!“
“The only reason I didn't give the food 5 stars is for a chip preference. Casa Mia serves very thin Cantina style chips which are a bit oily. I prefer a thicker chip. The salsa is delicious. All of the food items ordered in our group were delicious. The service was great and the margs were very good. They do charge a 3.3% fee if paying by credit card.“
“Small hole in the wall with absolutely fantastic food. One thing to note is English is not spoken by many there but they are extremely friendly and easy to communicate with! Highly recommend!Parking: Very small lot but there is street parking if you are willing to walk a block or less“
“Small hidden gem that serves amazing authentic Mexican food. We walked in before closing and still got seated with amazing service. The food was delicious and fresh. The menu is on the smaller side but the food is tasty. I highly recommend getting the horchata to drink since they do make it fresh from scratch. The ambiance of the restaurant made you feel right at home with traditional Mexican decor. The staff was quick and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.“
“We had lunch there again yesterday, and it was amazing! The food and service are consistently excellent. Everything we had … fajitas, tacos, enchilada, beans, chips and salsa) were delicious. The gentleman that waited on us was very pleasant and attentive. The place is super clean and cute. All that we ate for only $25. The chips and salsa are the best in STL.Parking: Plenty of parking, including disabled parking, immediately in front of the restaurant.“
“The food was really good, but somewhat salty. Also, what we consider mexican street corn is called "Elote Mexicano." It's not the same... They useTajin chili powder, which has a slight lime taste and higher salt content. Remember, Cotijan cheese has a salty finish. I didn't taste any smoked paprika. And the type of mayonnaise used really does matter. IJS. If you're looking for what I was looking for, "Mexican STREET CORN" look elsewhere. However, the atmosphere is laid-back with a nice, cozy feel. Kid friendly atmosphere. Drinks are OK. BEWARE: This place is NOT for anyone with high blood pressure. I'm sure a ton of places would match this description. ?“
“The service is excellent, friendly, and fast. Even for a party of 6, we got our food in 20 min. Flavors are good. I enjoyed mine, but have had better. Would rate food an A-. Salsa a little too spicy for my wife. Would've liked a milder option.Dietary restrictions: A great keto (low-carb) or diabetic option is the molcajete (stew of several meats). Eat without tortillas, and you'll still have enough to take home.“
“The line can be long and service can be iffy at times depending on how busy they are.Parking: Bars and other stores next to it, if you go during slow times you can usually find a spot easily but during dinner rush or later with the bar close by parking can be difficult.Kid-friendliness: I see kids here all the time, and we bring our kids there, too.“
“Highly recommend!! Extensive menu with a stacked salsa bar and all the drinks you can find in a California Mexican spot- Horchata, Jamaica, etc. Large portions, fresh food and fast! You order at the front and they bring it out to you. Tons of booth and table options. They also have a drive thru. Prices are more than fair. I had chicken fajitas and chips and guac. My brother had a chicken torta and both were fantastic. Highly recommend the cheesecake chimichanga and raspberry churros. Everything is amazing and the people are super nice! Great spot!!“
“I have had almost everything on the menu so far I have not found anything that has not been prepared cooked taste great meets my expectations for a restaurant and one day I will eat everything on the menu at least once highly recommend anybody that likes Mexican food to try this place highly “
“Great place! Our server, Mario, was awesome. Came and took our drink order immediately and paid close attention to our drinks. Food came out, and it was smaller than expected, I got the Carretta wrap with steak. It was $11 and really good if you aren't too hungry. Mario definitely ate the star because he was SUPER Mario. (The toothpick machine is really cool, too)“
“*** Foodies take note ***** El Mexiquense has a very broad range of menu offerings, beyond those typical of your average Mexican restaurant. Those that I have tried were wonderful. Their three salsas each have tremendous flavor and texture (not pureed). The staff, while not especially fluent in English, were very attentive. (This is, after all, an authentic Mexican restaurant) I would like to next bring several friends so that we can sample more items from the menu than the 1 or 2 that I typically order.“
“Enchiladas Supreme, chicken soup,3 grilled chicken tacos,&Poblano/chic burrito combo was good tasting.3 grilled chicken tacos were cold/luke warm after eating the 1st one. When we finally got the attention of our waiter(on his phone),they promptly warmed up the other 2.We also had a side of nopales, which were also cooked well.Service was pretty good.“
“Grande Burger is worth the price. Do not hesitate. No gristle or bones in these burgers! The first time there were jalapeños which was delicious. Ask for them if you want them. Pick up service is quick. The hard shell tacos are yummy too. One time they were flour and the next time corn so it is lovely to get a variety and have this choice. (Later learned hard shell flour is chalupa not taco. Chalupa shell is a little heavier than a fried flour tortilla.) The Steak Fajita King Burrito is so large it could feed a family! Super tasty and made less messy which is another thing to appreciate. We just started ordering here and plan to make it a regular staple in our rotation. Typically do not get along with restaurant food but *this food* must be built with love!“
“Food was good, like any other Mexican restaurant. My waitress was horrible, no personality at all. Took the drinks and food, no silverware, we have to stand up and go to her and ask for anything we needed, (we were the only customers) including another drink. However the bartender was very helpful, i think he saw our struggle and decided to help. I wanted to tip him but he was gone by the time we left (Javier) thank you for your help.“
“It's nice to find places close to home that are so cool. This place gives you hot good food at affordable prices. Yummy dishes of comfort. That fill you up and satisfy your cravings. Good food is hard to find. I like it here. I definitely will return here again and again. Try the fried burrito.“
“Honestly, one of the best Mexican restaurants in Saint charles. They are not franchised like some of the more popular locations, but authentic as hell! Service was top notch, very sweet people, and the store right next door has all the goodies for cooking some authentic food at home! 100% going back soon!“
“I love this spot we go here for our teriyaki Quesadilla and love their many other Choices on food, Even have a children’s menu. They put their heart into what they make and treat you well. I would recommend here for a lunch date or an evening date or even to go if you like to eat at home!“
“Awsome restuarant. Food was fresh and came out sizzling. Beans,Lettuce, tomatoes, shrimp, and steak were just plain good. The price wasn't bad at all for the amount of food my family and I received. We ate in and got very full and still brought food home enough to get full again. Just good. Good enough to make you close your eyes when you taste it and say "this is REALLY good". Fifty six bucks filled my wife, daughter, and myself up completely.Kid-friendliness: Server made sure we were cared for well.“

“Amazing establishment, love being greeted with a cheerful "Welcome to Moes!". The Stacks were amazing and of course their burritos too. Customer service and employees were absolutely incredible and very friendly. 10/10 recommend. Way better than Chipotle. PS: Josie is the best burrito maker!!“
“Chicken fajitas cooked perfectly!!! It was very tasty and visually the most appealing chicken fajita I've had at ANY Mexican Restuarant in the STL or St. Charles County, fabulous!!! (Visit one at least once a month for the last many years.) Lunch was $11.99 for chicken fajita with refried beans, rice (sm amt of peas in rice) and all the toppings for fajita. Didn't eat rice. Refried beans were excellent, chips were as well. Salsa texture great, it wasn't too spicy, nor too bland. Liked the way salsa was in a separate container with separate dipping dishes. Peach and Jalapeno Margarita awesome!!! Small 6.99, offer 3 or 4 different sizes, loved that! Found coupon in local flyer magazine and it's good for the whole month. Only complaint, service was a little unattentive, waitress dropped check and we weren't told we needed to pay at counter. Prices very reasonable for lunch, dinner a little higher. Clean and colorful inside. Go....Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options: salads, chile rellano ($7.99 lunch), refried beans and all the standard Mexican veggie options.Parking: Plenty of parking located within shopping plaza at Schnucks on Zumbehl Rd“
“Mexican food is not my normal go-to food first choice, BUT I absolutely love the food at Mi Mexico Lindo. I ordered a strawberry margarita, taco, tamale, rice and beans, and corn cake on my first visit while we had drinks at the bar and was quite pleased. So we decided to try this place again. Today I ordered the shrimp enchiladas entree and was totally wowed by the flavors. Service was great and we even chatted with the owner when we paid our bill. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. This is my new favorite place!!!Sorry no photos…we started eating before I remembered ?“

“We went for the daily happy hour 3-6pm. Had great service and the food was tasty as well. Our group shared several Starters (queso, empanadas, fries, and wings) and had their margaritas which were great! I recommend the house marg on the rocks. We will be back.“

“The Sunday lunch crew were fantastic, and lunch was absolutely amazing! Hot chips and delicious salsa to begin with and instant refills, and then, we ate main dishes: Steak Fajitas, Street Tacos, and Fajita Taco Salad. Five stars: Staff went Above & Beyond. Everything was on time and hot.“
“While I was waiting for my food, the owner came and sat next to me at the bar, introduced herself, and then sat and talked with me for another 5 minutes, making sure that I was being taken care of and listening to what I was saying. Wonderful place with a good family vibeParking: If I ever own a restaurant, this is the way I would hope I could run it ?“
“This has become our new regular place for Mexican/Tex-Mex. Love the Enchilada Supreme plate (first time i had a bean enchilada along with the chicken, beef, and cheese.) Excellent fajitas. only a little distracting when the cooks are blaring their music in the kitchen, and different music is playing in the restaurant. Great service every time!!“
“The ceviche de pescado was AMAZING! Same for the coconut mojito. Here goes: I see a lot of undeserved low ratings here from- honestly- some pretty spoiled brats who don’t understand that they are not the center of the universe. So I’m setting the record straight. The seating was completely comfortable, service was great, and the food was fresh! As far as the complaints about small portions go, the portions are only small if you’re a total fat @$$ and can’t understand what constitutes a normal amount of food per meal. For all of us who aren’t 500 pounds, it was the perfect size, hands down. The chairs were not uncomfortable at all. By the way, I’m totally not sorry at all. These people deserve WAY more 5 star reviews. It’s hard to find genuinely good Mexican food with real actual fresh ingredients, but Casa Mia sets the bar! It is a gem tucked away in New Town and a local favorite. ❤️Dietary restrictions: There are vegan and vegetarian options as well as fish for pescatarians.“
“Can in with group. Mine was togo. I order 1st. Then 6 other person order there. Instead turning mine in 1st. He didn't. My family got their food 1st. I had to wait 15 to 20 minutes to get my good. And I told him it was to go. I wish these Mexican restaurants have people can understand English more better.“
“Was in the city and needed to find a New Mexican spot. El Tenampa is a quaint restaurant in Overland, MO where you can find great food with reasonable prices. We stopped by on a Sunday after the lunch rush and was able to be seated quickly. Our server greeted us and took our order but not before we got a healthy basket of hot chips and delicious salsa. El Tenampa has all the traditional Mexican dishes you expect to see but also had some dishes we decided to try. I ordered the pork ribs with chili verde and was served with delicious beans, rice and tortillas. We also ordered a spicy creamed chicken also served with delicious beans, rice and tortillas. Restaurant was very steady with customers as well as having Mexican futbol for all to watch. El Tenampa also has a very good assortment of music to enjoy with your meal. El Tenampa provided a great experience and definitely will be back.“
“I love this place when I visited Florida the staff may now have spoken that much English but they still made it feel like home as I was a recurring customer with the same order and the kind woman working at 7ish was always working when me and my mom went and she was so kind and she remembered my order after like a week. Much recommended for people visiting.“
“Not a bad little place. Food was delicious and quick, only reason I gave it 4 was the service and seating. Was asked to speak with someone, they passed me into a other and then we had three different servers between drinks, food order and water top offs. Friendly non the less, but not as simple as it could be.“
