“I can't say enough about this restaurant. It's the BEST! We go there a lot. We ate there 12/27/25. You get so much food with the Fajita dish that I always have to take half of it home. My husband mostly gets meals with shrimp and he too loves them. In getting to know them over the years is like gaining another family member. Maria even helped me get a great doctor for my husband. Service is always spot on. They always bring me me a frosted mug with my beer, without asking! Everyone is very friendly. If you like Mexican food you REALLY need to go there. “Food is excellent. The posole was so tasty. Get the green one! The salmon was a very good and generous portion with excellent mole. We heard them chopping the avocados to make our guacamole which was as fresh as the chopping indicated. Chicken enchiladas with green sauce was great and better than most established Mexican restaurants around town. Even the black beans were noteworthy. If you’re worried about them not having a liquor license right now, there is a liquor store upstairs where you can buy any number of Mexican beers, wines of all sorts and any can or bottle you might want and they welcome you to have it at your table. I highly recommend this little place.“

“Can’t believe I’ve not done a review for this place (inside El Morelia SuperMercado) yet, so here it is!

Every time I’ve gone, everything has been delicious. I love the condiment bar with different toppings and sauces. Decent size seating area, and the service is always friendly. Don’t forget to ask for a sample of one of their fresh made Aguas Frescas!

Today I got a lengua quesadilla and the pineapple Agua Fresca. Soft, thick, fresh house-made tortilla, lots and lots very tender lengua (yes, tongue) and cheese. It was beautiful!

I chose no toppings from their bar, but did partake in their oregano slaw with cabbage, cucumbers and onions. Nice!

Several aqua fresca flavors, they all looked amazing, I chose the pineapple - fresh pineapple in it, and just the right amount of sweet!

“We surprised our son for his 40th birthday. Most guests arrived early and were served drinks and chips while waiting for the guest of honor. Our waiter was so kind and efficient. He checked on us constantly while still respecting our chattering. We were at his table a long time and he never acted exasperated or frustrated. Food came out quick and was absolutely wonderful. We all ordered something different and we’re able to try different dishes. All very tasty!“

The young gentleman who is usually there taking phone orders on weekday afternoons, looks to be 18 or so? He is so unbelievable nice and professional! It is so rare today, especially ordering carry out, to get someone who seems to genuinely care to make a great experience. Honestly haven't had genuine service in years, unfortunately. Even though so many are great and nice, some just have that special something and you know their amazing customer service skills will bring them so far in life. You honestly never know when a simple smile and genuine thank you can make someone's day - sometimes they needed that more than you know. “We tried this place for the first time last night and had such a great experience! The food was delicious. We got the birria tacos and steak tacos, and both were so good. The queso and salsa were great too! We also tried the cucumber jalapeño margarita, the Halloween margarita, and “The Best” margarita, and they were all worth trying! 🍹🌮

The service really made the experience even better. Nolan was our server, and he was so sweet, fun, and personable! We also got to meet August at the front, and she was just as sweet. The manager even came by to check on us and made me a special eyeball garnish for my Halloween drink using a lychee, a blueberry, and strawberry syrup. Such a fun and thoughtful touch that made the whole experience feel extra special! 👁️🎃

“I had three bad experiences at global quesadilla on 141 and Clayton The first time I went in there they told me they don't accept cash. the second time I went in I got a quesadilla, some chips, and queso. the queso tasted awful. it tasted like warmed up canned cheese or something. I'd buy at the gas station but not the hot stuff in the dispenser that tasted better. And to be honest, there's nothing special about the quesadillas for the ingredients that go into it, the amount of time it takes to make and what they're charging for it. I find it ridiculous. if it's not going to taste good it should be cheap. at that point I'd rather make them at home. my third bad experience is a as a doordasher. after confirming the name of my customer, I proceeded to include my business card. global quesadilla doesn't own that food. that food was paid for by my customer. they have no right to tell me I can't put a business card with the food. the employee proceeds to yell at me multiple times to hand the food back to which I responded no twice and started walking out of the store. he proceeded to follow me out of the store continuing to yell at me and I had to tell him multiple times to back up/go inside / leave me alone. and if he touched me there's going to be a problem I shouldn't be in fear for my physical safety going into any establishment. they were also rude and unprofessional the first day I went in trying to pay with cash. how they've handled themselves multiple times is completely unacceptable. there's a reason why I only ate the food once. if I want Mexican food I'll make it myself or go to Taco Bell or a sit-down Mexican restaurant.“
