“I can't say enough about this restaurant. It's the BEST! We go there a lot. We ate there 12/27/25. You get so much food with the Fajita dish that I always have to take half of it home. My husband mostly gets meals with shrimp and he too loves them. In getting to know them over the years is like gaining another family member. Maria even helped me get a great doctor for my husband. Service is always spot on. They always bring me me a frosted mug with my beer, without asking! Everyone is very friendly. If you like Mexican food you REALLY need to go there. A lot of meat and shrimp with the spot sauce. Delicious. The berria is right there as the tortilla is grilled. Excellent shred with the cilantro. The Asada steak is very tasty too but just couldn't jump the berria or surf and turf. Sorry the picture is almost post inhalation! With the amount of meat, they're very filling and fresh. “This location is my favorite out of the 4 or so in the area. I usually order carry out since they are more affordable than fast food, 100x quicker, and 1000x more tasty.

The young gentleman who is usually there taking phone orders on weekday afternoons, looks to be 18 or so? He is so unbelievable nice and professional! It is so rare today, especially ordering carry out, to get someone who seems to genuinely care to make a great experience. Honestly haven't had genuine service in years, unfortunately. Even though so many are great and nice, some just have that special something and you know their amazing customer service skills will bring them so far in life. You honestly never know when a simple smile and genuine thank you can make someone's day - sometimes they needed that more than you know. Thank you to the great employee, and thank you to his trainers and people who obviously raised him right ❤“

“Me and my family came in at a time close enough to the store closing that I would usually avoid coming in but regardless of us coming in so soon before closing our service was exceptional. Daniel and Valerie were so kind that I asked for there names so I could specifically give them a great review. Seriously 10/10 service. I will be coming back to this location specifically because of Daniel and Valerie!“

“I had three bad experiences at global quesadilla on 141 and Clayton The first time I went in there they told me they don't accept cash. the second time I went in I got a quesadilla, some chips, and queso. the queso tasted awful. it tasted like warmed up canned cheese or something. I'd buy at the gas station but not the hot stuff in the dispenser that tasted better. And to be honest, there's nothing special about the quesadillas for the ingredients that go into it, the amount of time it takes to make and what they're charging for it. I find it ridiculous. if it's not going to taste good it should be cheap. at that point I'd rather make them at home. my third bad experience is a as a doordasher. after confirming the name of my customer, I proceeded to include my business card. global quesadilla doesn't own that food. that food was paid for by my customer. they have no right to tell me I can't put a business card with the food. the employee proceeds to yell at me multiple times to hand the food back to which I responded no twice and started walking out of the store. he proceeded to follow me out of the store continuing to yell at me and I had to tell him multiple times to back up/go inside / leave me alone. and if he touched me there's going to be a problem I shouldn't be in fear for my physical safety going into any establishment. they were also rude and unprofessional the first day I went in trying to pay with cash. how they've handled themselves multiple times is completely unacceptable. there's a reason why I only ate the food once. if I want Mexican food I'll make it myself or go to Taco Bell or a sit-down Mexican restaurant.“

At least those who like spicy fare. It’s incredibly flavorful. We also have had several tasty entrees here. Again, it’s not a fancy place. And I wasn’t too impressed with their margarita. But the food is memorable.“

“I give the store 4 stars, it's a good place but they should be more careful with the food they sell. I bought 2 pounds of sweetbreads and it turns out that they mix them with hard gizzards. I find it unpleasant that they do that and you don't enjoy what you buy.“

“We surprised our son for his 40th birthday. Most guests arrived early and were served drinks and chips while waiting for the guest of honor. Our waiter was so kind and efficient. He checked on us constantly while still respecting our chattering. We were at his table a long time and he never acted exasperated or frustrated. Food came out quick and was absolutely wonderful. Amazing seafood--free ceviche, and the shrimp empanadas, shrimp w Nayarit sauce and snapper with octopus were excellent. Server was friendly, fast and had good advice. Based on our experience this is easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in the city, no idea why ratings aren't better. The only downside is a great reason to go: they need more customers! I've heard many Hispanic restaurants are having trouble lately w. customers (incl legal residents) afraid to come out, so this is a good time to support them. But it's a great space and a fun vibe.“
