About Rico's Tacos

Rico's Tacos is a great little taco Cafe inside El Morelia SuperMercado. The restaurant serves up some of the best Mexican food, with authentic street tacos done right and done quickly. The California burrito is huge and filling, and the baked potato topped with pork and pineapple is amazing. The al pastor and lengua tacos are some of the best, and the lengua quesadilla features a soft, thick, fresh house-made tortilla with lots and lots of very tender lengua and cheese. The burrito is quite good and very filling, and the horchata is refreshing and mixed well.

The condiment bar with different toppings and sauces is a nice touch, letting guests build tacos themselves. The red and green salsas are both fantastic. The oregano slaw with cabbage, cucumbers and onions is nice. There are several Aguas Frescas flavors, including pineapple with fresh pineapple and just the right amount of sweet. The service is always friendly, and the portions of meat in each taco are generous and satisfying. The location inside a market with homemade tortillas, a huge tequila selection, a bakery section with authentic Mexican breads and pastries, and other Mexican and Hispanic grocery items is a great bonus. The atmosphere is a good court atmosphere, but that's not a bad thing.
