“First Watch served a fabulous breakfast.

The ingredients were fresh and full of mouthwatering flavors. Our food had a delightful presentation and was served hot.

A decanter of coffee on the table kept the cup topped off. Also provided at the table was a carafe of very cool water.

Caloric information is listed on the menu. Choices for eggs and gluten-free are available.

The premises were very clean. Parking was convenient. There is an option for indoor or outdoor seating. The decor is simple, clean lines and minimalistic.

“First time visit. Went for our anniversary. The attention to detail was excellent. We've spent a lot more at similar steakhouses and haven't had nearly the wonderful experience as we had here! Being seated by the manager was a nice touch. Prior to going, the only thing we knew was that it was attached to a Holiday Inn, which made us suspect and we thought we'd be severely disappointed. But since it got a good rating on Yelp we chanced it-- we're so glad we did! The cocktails were delicious and interesting. The wine list superb. We LOVED the salads that arrived "family style"- a Caesar and a mixed-greens salad choice. They came with homemade dressings that I wanted to drink from the bowls! Our steaks were cooked to our liking. I ordered the filet Oscar style and it was delicious! There were many choices of sides from which to choose. We ordered the whipped potatoes, asparagus, and the pepper cream sauce for my wife's filet and they were all yummy! Finally, we were given a free large slice of their "wedding cake" (vanilla cake with a phenomenal almond buttercream frosting) for dessert and devoured it! Don't hesitate going here. We think you'll enjoy it as much as we did!!“

“Our waitress was friendly but a bit overworked. The Italian Wedding soup was horrible. No flavor, no Italian sausage and full of barley. The roast beef sandwich was good but had wilted greens on it and we didn’t like that. The ham and cheese sandwich was good. The atmosphere was a bit noisy.“

“Aug 11 about 9:30 am. What a wonderful brunch spot. It’s between two sections of a shopping center and at a hair raising intersection but the breezeway was perfect on a summer day. Friendly staff, interesting menu, and a quick correction to an erroneously executed special request. We all ordered a different dish but all 5 of us were happy with the presentation and flavor. “Met up with a friend today at one of my favorite brunch spots, First Watch. We went to the one located on Streets of St. Charles. Their fresh food, juices, and eclectic menu makes it so you can always try something new. They have specialties each month, and I suggest you go before the end of February and try their barbacoa chilaquiles breakfast bowl!! Today I had the morning meditation juice and the barbacoa chilaquiles breakfast bowl. The breakfast bowl was a party in my mouth! The braised beef barbacoa mixed with the eggs, beans, and other seasonings. My friend opted for the Italian Inspired omelet. You can put a reservation in online prior to arrival on busy days (like Saturday). The wait was not long this morning, and the food makes the wait worth it. One thing I like about Fresh Watch is the continuity across the chain in that regardless of which restaurant you choose the food is always good and fresh. Great service. Stop in and check them out…try something new!“

“As usual with other waffle house restaurants, the food was very good.
When we first walked in, though, a manager was screaming at the top of her lungs at an employee saying “no, no, no, no!“ four walking out of the cooking area into the back room. Of course it got everyone’s attention and the employee’s as well. As a guest of the restaurant. I just don’t know that type of correction was necessary and definitely not out front with all the guests.
When seated, we did have to ask repeatedly for refills on all of our drinks, which was a bit of a letdown for a waffle house. From over 20 years of experience with this restaurant chain, that is one Service you could always count on, was quick drink refills. We understand getting and keeping good employees is difficult these days and has been over the last many years.“

“This was an older IHOP with a blue a-frame roof and smaller than the new ones. The restaurant was like 50 away from I-170, so it was an urban feel. The restrooms were accessible through the kitchen, which was unusual. The food was good and the service was friendly. A very nostalgic IHOP.“
