This has been my favorite restaurant since I was little, about 35 years since my first time going. It always has held a special place in my heart because my grandma and Poppy (who passed away 7 years ago) would always bring me here when I would visit from 2 hours away. Great little place in Festus/Crystal City area. My wife and I shared our meal as we were not super hungry. We ordered the country salad first as it is the main reason we go. It is one of the best salads around and they also give you a nice portion. We then ordered the buffalo wing pasta dish which was overall pretty good but wished it had a little thicker sauce as it was too thin and not really sticking to the pasta very well. A great small town institution that serves up great italian favorites and southern, made from scratch classics. The service is always great, with welcoming and friendly servers. You can't go wrong with the Carbonara, Pasta Con Broccoli, fried zucchini appetizer, and their fried chicken special. Absolutely worth a visit. Cheers!
