“Perfect for your favorite coffee, grab something already prepared at Dierburgs, and have a spot to work on your computer or meet a friend. I was leary because I knew there was minimal space, but this is inside a super big Dierbergs and there is a mezzanine with plenty of tables and booths and free wifi. If you are sensitive to smells, you might choose other though. There’s a combination of coffee and all the other grocery smells that kind of lingers. Otherwise, it’s great!“

“This isn’t a frequent McDs location for my boys but we dropped for dinner during the 270 rush hour. Kristy (the night manager) made this visit to McDs a memorable one! After hustling with orders she took the time to walk around the restaurant and thank customers asking if they needed anything else. In 46 years of life never seen such a McDs manager be so engaging.

She needs to be instructing McDs manager level classes. This is what a genuine manager looks like to customers! Keep up the great work and positive vibes!!!“

“🤩🤩 This is my favorite coffee shop of all time. Everything about it is perfect. It’s adorable, the staff is amazingly friendly and treat me like an old friend. The menu is *chefs kiss*, it’s homey beyond belief and it’s the perfect place for everyone. Kids (a moment for the kids space upstairs?! It’s amazing) , remote workers (free WiFi), friends getting together. It’s perfect. The love your neighbor might just be the most delicious coffee I’ve ever had. I love this place!!!“

“City Coffee House & Creperie is a great place to escape, the vibe is that of a hidden cafe. The food is always great, I love their lemon curd crepe, opted for the waffle this time to celebrate National Pancake Day (a waffle is just a pancake with cups to hold the syrup I’ve been told). You cannot go wrong with any selection on the board. Fresh ingredients and great staff!!“

“Great atmosphere! I love all the colors and the inspiring vibe. There are lots of seating options to choose from—whether you prefer a soft, cozy seat or a taller, bar-height spot. There’s even a workspace that’s super soothing.

I had my usual vanilla latte, and it was delicious—no complaints! It came in a glass instead of a mug, but that’s not a big deal. The music was awesome too. I didn’t even bother putting on my own playlist because it felt like they were already playing my favorite songs.

When I indulge, my absolute favorite is their lavender honey latte, the most soothing and relaxing drink I've ever savored. I adore their avocado toast, which may require a pinch of salt and pepper, but paired with eggs, sun-dried tomatoes, onions, and their other delectable options, it's a match made in heaven. Their breakfast sandwiches featuring herbal cream cheese are a game-changer - incredibly delicious and deserving of accompaniment with every order. The service is exceptionally friendly, kind, and welcoming, with the female owner being an absolute gem. “The French Dip was maybe not the best I've ever had. I'm sorry to say it - there was nothing really wrong but it was just okay. But our waiter made up for anything was was mildly lacking. Was his name Marquis or something like that. I'm SO sorry I didn't jot down the correct spelling. He was AMAZING - personable, handsome, efficient beyond words. The atmosphere and decor are wonderful. This was the first I had been since the name change and all was wonderful. Can't wait to return - hope I can get the same waiter“

When we walked in Josh was on it, made us feel we were “regulars”, like he new us personally and Stacey, the hostess that seated us, was equally as welcoming and we were seated promptly. I don’t believe we got our kind servers name, but the beautiful young lady was on it as well. The chefs/kitchen were on par as well, hubby had one of the eggs Benedict with a side of biscuit and gravy, I had the Ranchers beef salad, one of the best beef and blue cheese salads I’ve EVER had, and believe me, I’ve had a “few” 😋🤫😊 Hubs also loved the huge coffee mugs his coffee and my Kahluah/hot chocolate(yum on this damp chilly day)were served in…this where my only complaint would be, my mug was chipped along the rim 😅 All that said, it was just a fantastic way to start our Sunday. Parking: Parking is tricky... there's parking in front of the restaurant, but it's difficult to get in a spot without getting hit. Leaving was also a little scary because it's right off of Gravois, which is always busy and I scuffed the underside of my car leaving.“

The cashiers are so nice and friendly every time I visit. They’re super helpful when I have questions about the menu or can’t decide what to try next. It’s clear they really care about creating a great experience for their customers.

Parking: The parking situation can be a bit tricky since Kaldi’s shares a small lot with two other restaurants, which is almost always full. Street parking can also be a challenge, especially depending on the time of day, as it’s located right near WashU’s campus.“

We got egg&cheddar biscuits and they were EXTREMELY crumbly, like eventually I gave up eating the biscuit part. The egg was dry. Would recommend a different food choice“
