Great early lunch today. My wife’s chicken wrap and my chicken salad sandwich were outstanding and very friendly staff. I highly recommend this restaurant/shop.
Really good! A burger and a float was all I needed. Great little gem in Elsberry

The Pickle Barrel in Elsberry, MO is a great little place with a nostalgic feel. They offer simple quality food like reubens and chicken bacon ranch wraps. The vintage soda shop decor is so cute. The owners were so friendly and the employees are so kind and attentive. The food was delicious and served quickly. They have yummy sandwiches and salads, but their ice cream is a favorite. The old soda fountain serves delicious treats like cherry Coke Phosphates and chocolate malts. The friendly service and cool atmosphere make it a must-visit spot for a classic meal or a tasty malt. They even have neat antique and craft items nicely displayed and available for sale, as well as fresh floral bouquets to boot! Check their Facebook page for Sunday hours before heading over. A local treasure worth the drive, especially for malt enthusiasts.
