But my baked potato wouldn't melt the butter and if you're going to add scallops to the menu make sure your staff knows how to prepare them properly otherwise they come out chewy and don't have a nice golden color. I've been here several times and I will definitely be going back! The staff has always been very attentive and very nice. The place seems to be popular with the local people it started filling up quickly this evening.“

“Went with the guys for a burger and beer on a weekday around five. Place was already busy but we got a table immediately. Service was very good. I had the jalapeño burger, coleslaw and smithwick beer. Burger was excellent. Jalapeños were fried and piled high I normally don't notice the bun, but that was also very good. I ordered coleslaw as my attempt at dieting. Was average. My compatriots fries looked very good. Large portions.“

I'm pretty upset at myself for waiting so long after my first experience. Everything I had was 10/10! From the BBQ rib plate special that came with pulled pork and andouille sausage along with fantastic sides of homemade potato salad, slaw, and baked beans to the well-crafted old fashioned cocktail. Service was fantastic and live music was perfect for a Friday night out. Parkside is a neighborhood gem and I cannot wait to get back.“
