Went after a hike at Don Robinson for lunch. Had about a 15 minute wait. Once we got our table our waitress was extremely attentive and gave the best suggestions. It was the last day for The King Mary and the Shrimp Po' Boy that we had but we will definitely be back to try the regular menu and upcoming specials.
Impressive! Small but it has it all. Bar, bakery counter and full service restaurant. The provincial salad. I was expecting dry chicken, hard potatoes etc. The chicken was moist and marinated. They easily accommodated my request not to add additional salt to the chicken during the final prep. The potatoes were hot and perfectly cooked and the cheese was a perfect addition. The bakery and eatery does everything exceptionally well. There is a vast menu of specials, breakfast specialties and such, but they don't miss on anything. The servings are ample. Make sure to get a couple of the massive cookies or a delicious cupcake on the way out.
