“Well I was looking for a place to grab a sandwich and ended up near a different sandwich shop when I finished work. Looked at the reviews and one of them said the place was mid at best and recommended here instead. Hot damn am I glad I listened, easily in the top 5 sandwiches I've ever had, will absolutely be coming back again to try more!“
“Full disclosure: the owner happens to be ay friend. That said, it's still a great little neighborhood bar that also serves a nice selection of food. Their pizza is what everyone raves about, but I also had the fried artichoke hearts with a marinara sauce--really tasty. So here's the "Gallery" part: Dave has local artists' paintings up on the walls; everything is for sale, and the prices are actually affordable. The menu has artists names for the dishes, and they spelled all the names correctly!Nice selection of wines and beers, too.All in all, great place to meet a friend or a group.“
“I hosted my husband's 40th birthday in the upstairs portion of the restaurant. They were very easy to work with to reserve the space and plan out the menu for the guests. The food was incredible and the service was top notch.Vegetarian options: We held our event on a Friday during lent and guests had plenty of non-meat options to choose from.Parking: I parked in front of the restaurant with paid parking. My guests parked in the paid garage with no issues“
“My first St. Louis brewery visit was a hit. In an industrial area and charming. We got beers downstairs. Our selections included: Building Blocks; Earmuffs; and Full Life all really tasty. Upstairs is a party area with video games and Skeeball. Place was a lot of fun and I'd come back to buy beer to bring home. Plenty of parking out back. Nice people. Please tip them they hustle.“
“I usually end up here every once in a while when a friend comes in from out of town. There is a variety of drinks. Because we always end the night here, I can't comment on the food. The service is always nice it has always felt to me like a neighborhood bar. It's very spacious and we don't typically have to wait for a table. The bathroom doors can be a little tricky one seems to stick so knock and give it a firm pull.“
“This place is absolutely amazing! It feels like you can bring in a family, but also be able to see how your team is doing with the many TVs on sports! The fiery honey shrimp and the fiery honey chicken sandwich is absolutely fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and the food!!!“
“Come in on a slow night, bar tender was prompt. Not sure why an Irish Bar plays nothing but 90/2000’s country music. Food not impressive, limited menu, which makes you think they would be good at a select few things, good place to grab a drink and watch a game, not much more.“
“This was a small (looking) unassuming pub that turned out to be absolutely amazing. Food, drinks, everything went above and beyond my expectations. The next time I visit St. Louis this will be a place that I will visit, without a doubt!Vegetarian options: Beyond burgers and other vegetarian options exist, though are limited“
“Mel is bartending Monday and Saturday .NICE liI didn't know they had a second room behind the bar. Nice outdoor patio in front . Irish beer specials every day!!! Pizza crust comes from the Hill and they add the goodies . About twelve items to choose from . Bar service only if it's busy and it usually is !“
“Stopped in on a Friday evening and the small bar was full. Since it was just us 2 we were able to snag a table. There is seating outside the bar area in lobby if you have a bigger group or want a more quiet place to chat. You just order food/drinks at the bar and they'll bring it to you. The cocktails were good and we split the lamb sliders and meat/cheese plate.“
“I absolutely loved this place food was good and drinks were amazing it was my first time at a bar and in St. Louis and barb and Josh was outgoing and funny and kept the atmosphere alive they were kind enough to take a pic with me, I definitely will come back“
“I had a blast at 1 Nite Stand last weekend. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially Roger and Katherine, who made me feel very welcome and entertained. They were always cracking jokes, giving compliments, and joining in the karaoke. The drinks were reasonably priced and delicious, and the karaoke was so much fun. They have a huge selection of songs, from oldies to current hits, and the sound system is great. The crowd was lively and supportive, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. The bar also has pool tables, a dart board, and a dance pole for some extra entertainment. The place is cozy and quirky, with a lot of character and charm. If you're looking for a fun night out with friends, 1 Nite Stand is the place to go. I can't wait to go back and sing my heart out again.“
“Walked over from venue rock Rock House venue to try this pizza by recommendation. Amazing! Welcoming bartenders, Very friendly to visitors & I hear they also have bands. Thank you Patrick for a great visit. Will definitely be back next trip through. Go Cardinals!!!“
“Nice little neighborhood bar. All your standard amenities, pool, darts, jukebox. Great drink prices. Just be aware it is very smokey... could use some better ventilation, but as long as you know what you're in for, it's a fun place.“
“Love this place! Great people, low priced drinks, and some of their newest karaoke DJ, Lindsey, has the best sound system I've sang on in years. You can hear yourself perfectly and the sound is extremely well balanced.Ashby Pub still stands as my favorite local dive. Cathy makes this the most welcoming and friendly place you'll ever find. A diamond in the rough to be sure.“
“Walked in with a group of 19 people, and Ryan was completely completely accommodating. He helped with special orders and went above and beyond to make our dining experience excellent. Everyone loved the pizza! Great place to go!Kid-friendliness: Sat outside and the kids were free to sit at their own table and enjoy the weather.“
“A family member recommended this place. We called and ordered carry out for a family of four. It was all done in less than 30 minutes. Not piping hot or cold. Just right. And it was all SOOOO good! We got a variety of things from a fish sandwich to an order of cheese fries and curds. Zero complaints. It was all clearly made with love. We will be back!“
“I recently left a positive review for Fallon's, but my most recent experience was so good that I wanted to share again. When you order something here, you can tell there are no shortcuts. The salads are always fresh, and their homemade dressings stand out among St. Louis restaurants. The Reuben sandwich is generously stacked with corned beef, earning Fallon's a high rank for both quality and price. I tried a burger, and it was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Their variety of sides includes options like cottage cheese, coleslaw, onion rings, and, of course, fries. I particularly enjoy their pretzel and cheese appetizer; the pretzels are moist, and the cheese sauce is pretty good. The wings are also a safe bet--they're well-flavored and well-made. A friend ordered the corned beef and cabbage entree, and I was so impressed that I had to sample it. Dining here offers great value, and the service is always kind. I find myself coming back even more because I continue to be impressed with each visit.“
“I came here last night, and it has a dive bar vibe. Several people were sitting in the bar area and getting their night started early. Meanwhile, I only stopped by for a drink and saw this online through my quick search. The bar has good drinks, and they're affordable (for once)! My dog was with me, so I sat outside in their patio area. It was spacious, too. I would come here again with my friends for a chill, dive bar feel.“
“We had our mid-winter Model T Ford lunch here. Probably 25-30 folks showed up. They have an area that was able to accommodate us all, and we had great service, even though we were a larger party. The serviced was spot on, drinks came out quickly and the food orders followed close behind. So many different dishes were served and it seemed as though everyone enjoyed the food. They did not seem to mind we sat around for a couple of hours swapping our stories. Another nice thing was they let us have separate checks, which makes for a much easier time for our group. There is more than one location in the area, and we plan on trying a different one next time.“
“Love this place. Very relaxed, down to earth crowd. Good patio and inexpensive drinks. Huge shot pours. Like WHOA size. They only take cash, but have an atm inside! Met the management/owner and she is great too. Played video bowling with a group of us. Definitely going back.“
“I have enjoyed this place immensely! I have a mutual friend who works as a lead bartender at an another establishment close by. She introduced me to Andi who seems to really lead the staff and the customers when you walk in! Andi is always gracious and welcoming and always makes a point of saying hello and wanting to know what I need or my group needs! I love this place and I appreciate how welcoming Andi is!! Thanks Hive!! ?“
“My friends and I came here after a long day at the golf course. It’s a typical downtown STL bar. However,The prices are competitive and the food was quite tasty. I recommend the Cheddar Bacon Burger with the Onion Straws. The food service was slow, but it was only one cook working the place.Overall, I’d go back and would have gotten 5 stars if the food service was slightly quicker.“
“Gave a baby shower Feb 17, which included 50-60 couples, friends and family through out the day. Ordered several food items off buffet menu plus soda/ tea beverages from bar. Food was GREAT (Lil corn dogs, Ravioli's, Mozzarella sticks and Cadillac sliders), food trays didn't go empty, thanks Chris and Avery. Top floor was blocked for our private event. Gave us ample time to decorate, had chairs and tables for our guests to sit plus seating at the bar. Some extra tables also for food items brought in from family. We used DJ area for gifts and good size room attached to bar for more seating and photo opts. Great atmosphere and upstairs bar is gorgeous! Thanks also to Tara who we stayed in touch with from beginning to end and also bartended for event! Need a venue....check out Big Daddy's Soulard!“
“Molly's is such a gorgeous brunch place! The interior was charming and intimate with captivating art sprawled across the walls. The service was alright and nothing worth noting; they took our order, served our food, and gave us the bill. It did take a while to be seated as no one was at the front when we arrived. As for food, my boyfriend and I ordered The Hangover and the French Toast Bake. The Hangover was a big highlight, absolutely no regrets. A warning for the French Toast Bake -- this dish was definitely made for those who have a sweet tooth! It may be overwhelming for some as my boyfriend found it to be too much, but I found the sweetness to be nicely balanced by the bourbon sauce. The prices were decent for the area, and an automatic gratuity charge was added. It was an overall good dining experience.“
“The food was good. We had appetizers. Big group. The waitress busted her butt and was fantastic. We took a shuttle to Enterprise center. Top notch place. Everyone enjoyed the food they had. No complaints. Try the rueban rolls. Man they were good.Parking: Along the side“
“Went here recently with a friend of mine and my daughters to hang out and enjoy a couple drinks. The place is beautiful and the customers are very friendly and welcoming. We ordered some delicious food from across the street to enjoy. I do wish there was a larger variety of beers on tap. It was a very limited selection.“
“Tin Roof in St. Louis was a vibe for my friend's birthday! Our server, Allen, deserves major props. He was training a new gal, stayed super attentive and patient, yet served us flawlessly. Allen's lively, fun, and friendly attitude is a huge part of why I'll be back. The music and food were on point, and those bottomless mimosas with different flavors? A solid 10/10 experience. Can't wait for the next visit! ??“
“Today, we enjoyed lunch at O'Connell's pub. It's one of my favorite spots. Their sandwiches offer generous portions for the price, and their chili and breaded mushrooms are absolutely delicious. While they're known for their burgers, their sandwiches are equally satisfying. I'll definitely be returning, and I highly recommend giving them a try. Don't miss out--stop by and experience it for yourself.“
“First time stopped by nicks on a whim and it was the absolute best experience I’ve had at a bar in the St. Louis area. The bartender, Teddy, was very prompt, professional, and personable! Because of him and the staff, I will 100% be back again TOMORROW!!!“
“I had a beautiful burger at FBC today. My only complaint is I ordered medium and it came well done. Also, the bar waitress just wasn’t a good listener. I asked for water no ice, it came with ice. I also asked for a pre meal cup of chili I had to remind her to put in. I’ll be back though.“
