“The rare beef pho and spring rolls were savory. The peanut sauce was my favorite. The spring rolls were so perfect. Everything in the restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. This is probably one of the better places in the area to get pho.“
“I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The portions for the cost are AMAZING! I can always get 2 meals out of one trip there! I LOVE the bangkok noodles either plain or with shrimp and the Thai Butterflies are AMAZING!!! So glad I can use GrubHub when I am working and get my favorite Thai when I truly want it!!“
“This evening was my first time trying Thai Nivas and I will absolutely be back! They have a very big menu. My fiancé and I both enjoyed our meal - we definitely recommend any of the curry. They had 1 server for the whole floor while hosting numerous big groups (including a party of 20+), and still made sure we got our food as efficiently as the kitchen could produce our order.“
“This is a tiny neighborhood restaurant with inexpensive dishes. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. There were plenty of parking out front. They had mediocre decor and ambiance. I would recommend a quick lunch at this restaurant if you crave thai food.“
“Yum yum yum. I called ahead since there were 10 of us coming in & they had the table ready with no questions! It's a smaller area so if you do have a larger group I would definitely call ahead. Tried almost everything on the menu & it was all amazing. I don't think you can go wrong! Parking is all street parking so don't try to drive directly to the restaurant!“
“I have been going here since I was 2 years old and Thai country cafe has never failed to produce the BEST shrimp pad Thai AND crab Rangoon in St. Louis. Their food continues for 16 years to be fresh and had not changed in taste. I will always come here❤️“
“It’s truly heartbreaking to see all of the people leaving negative reviews for this restaurant. The owners are kind hearted and hardworking people who have been contributing to St. Louis’ diverse restaurant scene for years- it’s important for hole in the wall family owned restaurants like Yan Wu to exist and continue adding to the social and cultural fabric of the city, as more and more go out of business or are replaced by characterless chains. Please take a second to try and examine why you are so quick to judge a minority owned business and label the owners as “rude” due to communication barriers or assume they are talking about you when they speak in their native language rather than impulsively attempt to put another local restaurant out of business.“
“Amazing food and great service! The Pearl Spicy Curry is unbelievable ?Update: I decided to try the Drunken Noodles. Not as good as the Pearl Spicy Curry!Update 2: yeah, the Pearl Spicy Curry is where it's at!Update 3: yellow curry with shrimp is very similar to Pearl Spicy Curry and you can get it in a lunch portion with a crab Rangoon, spring roll and soup.“
