Stone Hill Winery Reviews
My husband and I love this restaurant! We talk about trying something new but are true creatures of habit here. We always order the Jaeger schnitzel because it is so delicious!! Add a couple glasses of wine and bread pudding for dessert and it’s a perfect meal. We did try the pretzel bites for an appetizer this time and they were hot, soft and buttery..the melted pepper Jack cheese and German mustard was a great pairing. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend!!
Food was oh so very good! Satisfied my craving for some great German cuisine. A bit pricey for my taste but it was worth it.
Dining. It’s all very delicious.

Stone Hill Winery offers a delightful dining experience with delicious food and cold beer. The restaurant is conveniently located and provides a perfect spot to catch up with friends and family. Visitors can choose 6 wines to taste and keep the glass, with the option to pay for a tasting. The winery itself offers a free tour with a bit of history, a great view, and a wide selection of wines. The cellar tour is highly recommended, as guides provide a great history of the winery, helping visitors understand not just the wine-making process but also the town and culture. The wines are very good, with the cream sherry being a noteworthy option. For those seeking German food, the shnitzle dish and bratwurst dish are available, with the option to order a half portion of each. The tour guides are knowledgeable, and the hand-built stone cellars add to the experience. While winter months offer no wait, spring and fall can be busier. Overall, the winery offers an enjoyable atmosphere for tasting and learning about Hermann's wine history.
