“One of the best, filling burgers i’ve ever had. The food only took about 10-15 minutes to get to me (i ordered 3 burgers). Everyone is pissy about the food taking to long, but no one realizes that it’s not a Wendy’s, and they make quality food when you order it. Also the service is not bad like everyone says, the woman who made my food was very kind, and made it very well. I will definitely be coming back, and i live 45 minutes away.”

“1/1/23. We love this little place. We've tried everything on the menu, and have never been disappointed. Now, if you're looking for, high class, or you're uppity, just stay away. But if you want good, home cooked meals, with a great view, then go. Get the FRIPS, they are a must. 6/1/23- This is still a great place. I had the chicken BLT, it was great. 8/4/23. You have to try the pork chop. And also the pies.”

“Wacky Jacks is a friendly local establishment. We stopped in on our way to Tablerock Lake. There is a smoking and non smoking side. We opted for the nonsmoking side. Plenty of table and booths with customer signatures on the walls! They have a stage for live music and karaoke. The staff is super friendly and the burgers are delicious. We also enjoyed the sweet potato fries and onion rings. We will definitely be back!”

“I was honestly pretty surprised with the food quality here and how fast food had gotten done, I was hanging out with my siblings when they recommended that they get Porky's pizza for dinner, I was skeptical at first but now I'm all in for Porky's, definitely worth a stop if you happen to be around!!!”

“Every time we go to Piccolo we know it's going to be a fantastic time. Me personally, I'm not typically a fan of Italian dishes, however Piccolo does it right with (what I believe) is House made Marinara sauce and just enough of it to add to the dish rather than take it over. Their complimentary bread sticks could be my dinner by themselves, I adore those things. Huge fan of the Carni Ravioli and their Salmon is to die for. (Though the portion for the Salmon could be bigger for the price.)”

“Dickeys Bbq does good job of affordable comfort bbq food. Every thing is good, brisket, sausage, fries are a fav, with assortment of sauces. Order at counter is very transactional, not quite fast food but you don't see the prep at counter, maybe help to visually see the meat prep for more inviting feel when you enter (as you eat with your eyes first!!). After prep you take your food on a tray to your table. Worker asked for tip at register was awkward for the wife, I didn't care. Decor is bbq rustic but dated. Has a feel that it had its heyday 10 years ago. Needs some personality but it could be last bbq standing in Nixa.”

“The Frittata with bacon is the best breakfast anywhere. The Avocado Toast is super fresh and the hot Mocha Latte is my drink of choice. It is a great meeting place inside or out.Parking: Less parking than needed next to the Workshop but plenty of free parking on the Finley Farms grounds.”

“I'm from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, just 30 minutes east of New Orleans.I have moved around since hurricane Katrina. (not my choice)I'm now in Nixa, MO and I have been wanting some Catfish. I found this place here in Nixa called S.S. Dockside Grill and Pub. I've tried other places here but I have to say it is really good. I had the Catfish plate w/slaw and fries. Great!❤️I also had the fried pickle chips w/remoulade sauce.Hummm. All was very good. I was born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and it was pretty good considering it's not on the gulf coast.I give it a 5 ⭐ star rating.Thank you S.S. “First of all….loved the Bob’s Big Boy out front!!! A blast from my California childhood days. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food, huge portions, and all at a reasonable price. My daughter and her boyfriend both got breakfast which is served all day. It was a mound of food on their plates that neither of them could finish. I ordered the tenderloin sandwich with fries. The tenderloin was pounded thin like I like and it was gigantic. I cut off a fourth of it to put on my bun and the rest I happily brought home and ate later that night. Thanks for the great food and great friendly service.”

“The waitress needs to be praised. She takes care of the entire restaurant. Her husband is a very very lucky man to have a woman so beautiful and hard working as she is!! Wish o had a wife like her. (Lengua is hard to find and Americans need to get onboard with this amazing cut of beef) Try the green salsa with it, I also enjoy their habanero salsa as well, I go there for taco’s but I’ve had enough off of the family’s plates to know it’s top notch on all their dishes: friendly staff that is attentive, I’m pretty happy to have them in Nixa!”

“We love Lamberts Springfield! The quality of food, serving size and service are wonderful! Justin, the young man that serviced our table, was polite and comical. Justin was attentive and went above and beyond ensuring our family had everything we needed or wanted. Lamberts is a family favorite of ours for years and when we’re traveling in the area we make certain to stop in. We’re thankful that they don’t change the menu, quality of food or service. Keep it up! We hope to continue coming back for many years!”

“This building is absolutely gorgeous. It is very large and has a ton of seating for all types of events. Indoor seating, patio seating with heaters and fans and outdoor seating next to a pretty lake surrounded by beautiful homes. This place really impresses for sure. I had already had their beers a few times at their original Galloway location, but this was my first time at this new facility and it wows you for sure. The beers were great, the staff were super friendly and you cannot go wrong with any seating in the house. We started inside and then ended up moving to the outside to enjoy the views. I love everything about this place. They even let me use my Hoppassport that only shows the Galloway location. Thanks guys!”

The food is always out faster than expected. I recommend the chicken tacos, marinated pork tacos, and the tacos arandas. We eat here every week and always look forward to it!”

Salsa had a great flavor, not bland like some places serve. Ask for the homemade hot sauce, you will be pleasantly surprised with it I promise. You can tell that the cook takes pride in the freshness and quality of what they serve.”

“This may be the most underrated joint around. The bread on their sandwiches is world-class. They have an impressive menu offering of deli style sub sandwiches that rival the best in the business. They also make an outstanding hamburger. Do not expect a round bun because they put it on their amazing French style bread. They are traditionally made on a bit of onions and served up juicy at hot to order. It reminds me of an Oklahoma burger or a smash burger, but this thing seems to have some additional spices that make it pop. Many people do not realize that big Al's owns the right to sell the dole pineapple whip. That's the stuff at Disney. This is the only place around here that you can get it, and it's worth the drive. Big Al, being the entrepreneur that he is, has also added the Crabshack business to the Nixa location. I must admit, it's not a fancy joint, but it may be the best crab and shrimp meal. I have ever eaten at any price. I also feel good about supporting big Al because he has a big supporter of the community, the schools, and our first responders. there is even a community donation box and a code program on his property. I just think it's extra special supporting local businesses, and this one gets it right.”
