Hostess must have had a bad day. Kind of rude. Food was good, served at eating temperature, and very plentiful portions. Clean, waitress was attentive and kind.
Our Server was Morgan and she is the Best Waitress around couldn’t ask for anyone better also the Manager Megan is the greatest she makes sure everything is on top and the food is very good the place is very clean and nice

Black Bear Diner Joplin offers very good food in a very clean and nice place. The manager makes sure everything is on top, and the food is made to perfection. The Denver Olmlet is light and fluffy, the pancakes are spot on, and the cheese grits are really Tasty. The Orange Juice is freshly made. The biscuits and gravy make your own meal gives so many more options to choose from. The chicken Ceasar sandwich with onion rings was very good, though the chicken ended up on one half and some onion rings were overcooked. The hash browns were not a favorite and came out cold twice, but the situation was remedied. Service is excellent and friendly, with servers who are efficient and personable, turning a bad day around. Everyone is very nice and polite. This is a really great place to eat, and guests will be coming back a lot more in the future.
