What a great place. Old school steak house and decor. Jazz music playing while u eat it was incredible. One of THE best steaks I’ve ever eaten on the Plaza in my life. You could eat the filet with a fork it cut like butter. I was always a plaza 3 guy but obviously they are gone. Just a great experience check it out.

I stayed two nights at the Raphael Hotel on the Plaza and enjoyed three meals at the Chaz. The first was a late lunch after arriving from Houston. I had the lobster bisque and the mashed potatoes, and both were fantastic. I had breakfast on the two mornings following. The first breakfast was the breakfast sandwich, and it was amazing. Food was pretty good, flavor was there for the most part. Added scallops for $12 and got one single individual scallop. Bread was disgusting, and the dessert was inedible, like literally couldn’t even break off a piece of cake to try. The drinks were good, calamari was fantastic but crab cake was a joke, tasted like deep fried tuna salad.
