I've been in KC for 26 years, and this is hands down the best. The meats, the sides, ALL amazing. The sausage is off the hook too. Get there early because they sell out daily.
We had a fantastic visit to Chef Js today after years of following from afar on IG. I have done several bbq tours in Texas and can say this is as good as it gets when it comes to fresh from the pit craft bbq. The smell of burning wood filled the air as we exited the car. The pork belly burnt ends are crispy yet still juicy and covered in a sweet BBQ sauce. The jalapeño cheddar sausage oozes cheese with each bite. The beef and cheddar sandwich is a must-try with thick brisket and cheese sauce. Their sauces are a standout.
