We visited Oceans of Fun only on a Thursday when it was overcast and sprinkling off and on. They ended up closing OOF 30 minutes early because of the weather.
I hadn’t been to these parks in about 20 years. Here’s the rundown of my experience.
Arrived around 1:00 pm because of the weather and left at 5:30 pm.

Worlds of Fun had some pretty good roller-coasters, but was disappointed with the number of rides closed on the day we visited. Also closed was a number of food vendors and drink stations. The park seemed to be staffed with minimal staff. I expected more since it was summer and a Friday leading into a weekend. Overall experience was adverage.
Super disappointed in both parks. Lots of rides and attractions were closed down or permanently closed and even places to get food. They don't have rides for older kids like age 7-11 just little kiddy rides and big rollercoasters. My 7 year granddaughter was bored. They took down the small rollercoaster. Oceans of fun was just as bad. Coconut cove was closed all day because they didn't have staffing . Totally unacceptable. That is the one place all of my family usually swims in...read full review
