“This restaurant is consistently good. Everything is always perfect. The flatbread is great. The chicken and shrimp and grits are also wonderful. The best host Steven is leaving. He was great. If you went there a lot, he knew where you wanted sit. He will be missed. True customer service. P“

“Our server, Megan, was excellent. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing or too interruptive. She knew we were headed to the opera and kept a close watch on time with our service so we would not be late. I'd definitely ask for her again! We were seated next to the entrance to the servers station/kitchen and there was a ton of traffic whizzing by our table, which was a little distracting. Someone has to sit there, but it seems like they could have put our table for two somewhere less intrusive (we were at a four top). It was not a full restaurant, so I'm not sure why were were seated smack in the middle of kitchen traffic. The food was amazing, as always. Pierpont's has been a family favorite for decades and the food is the # 1 reason we keep returning.“

“The food was incredible but that’s not the reason I’m taking time to leave a review. Our server Janzen ( hope I’m spelling that right) was simply the best server I’ve ever had. He made a point to get to know us on a more personal level and made recommendations for my celiacs disease. He gave us fantastic mocktails based off of our favorite fruits and even made sure we got to try the phenomenal espresso cake that was gluten free before we left. Request Janzen if you go to Capital Grille.“
