The staff member was very friendly, but I ordered a coffee and went to the restroom. When I came back, she hadn’t started preparing my coffee and was cleaning the trash can without gloves. After finishing cleaning the trash can, she proceeded to make my coffee without washing her hands. There were only two other customers in the café, both seated at the counter.

I have been wanting to try this place for years and I love supporting all the local coffee shops in KC. I went today and ordered a 16oz iced americano.
I am disappointed to say it was the genuinely the worst I have ever had. It looked like watered down iced tea and tasted like I was drinking water that sat near some coffee. I do not enjoy leaving negative reviews for small businesses but this was so bad I felt like people needed to know. I don't know if this was just a bad day, but there wasn't a single other person in the shop than me and the barista so it is not like it was so busy that it could explain the failure. I will note that I ordered the drink half-caff, but still, I have never had this kind of issue at any other shop or when I used to be a barista....I am willing to give this place another shot if someone feels like this was a fluke.

My go-to coffee spot whenever I'm in town. Service is always friendly, the drinks never miss, and even my toddler loves the bakery items. Can't recommend enough

We loved our stop at Goat Hill! The vibe is cozy and communal with breakfast bar-style seating that makes it easy to settle in and chat.

It’s also dog-friendly, and you can tel. The barista knew many of the pups (and their humans!) by name, which made the whole place feel like a true neighborhood spot.

The vegan breakfast burrito and classic breakfast burrito were both delicious, and the coffee was great. But the real standout for me was the matcha. I’m admittedly a bit of a matcha snob and usually prefer making it at home, but theirs was exceptional. With homemade syrups and Spirit Tea matcha, it was perfectly balanced and honestly one of the best I’ve had out.

The patrons and staff were warm and welcoming, sharing recommendations for our next visit and wishing us safe travels.
Thank you for fueling our road trip back to Illinois, we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in KC!

The baristas were extremely happy to answer my questions about the seasonal menu, and the latte I decided on was one of the best I've purchased around KC recently! The patio was wonderful as well, and I'm excited to go back! Thanks for the wonderful vibes!

Friends recommended I stop here when I was up for work. I loved the vibe so much, I almost wanted to sell my house and move to the neighborhood! Kira (sp?) was attentive and engaging. She took very good care of me. My coffee was lovely, and the panini grilled sausage breakfast burrito was fantastic. I will be making sure to stay nearby as often as possible just so I can come back.

Ordered a 12 oz regular hot latte regular milk.

La Marzocco machine, so was a good start, but theeen the coffe came and guess what!?

It was delicious and smooth with an after taste that was even better! It's on the more expensive side, before tax 6$ plus tip. Coffee was great, and the environment felt like a grab and go coffee shop. If you need a quick pick me up while walking around town, this is the spot =)

Originally came here to order something off their spring seasonal menu but it was no longer available. The baristas were super nice though, they gave us other recommendations & were just really helpful. Definitely give this place a try!
