Great food and great price. Never had an issue here in the years I’ve been going. Sad to say they are closing after 17 years.
We arrived at 7pm on a Tuesday evening. Couple of items were cooled off by the time I sat down. I question whether they were old or not kept at the proper temperature. I've had buffets with more choices available. They had some very large prawn that was delicious. We'll go back but not our favorite Chinese buffet.
Hmmm...we ate. Each of the 3 bites of General chicken had good flavor but took about 3 minutes to chew. Quality and flavor of food was definitely lacking. We were very disappointed and will not go back.
Hong's Buffet & Mongolian Grille in KC offers a great Chinese buffet with awesome variety. They serve top-notch crab Rangoons, coconut shrimp, and Honey Chicken. Despite some items being cooled off, the large prawns were delicious. While the General chicken lacked quality and flavor, the buffet still stands out for its offerings. Although not mind-blowing, Hong's is a good choice for Chinese buffet lovers looking for a decent meal.
