My family had a great experience dining at Lidia's restaurant for a celebration. Our server was prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous. We received our food quickly, and everything tasted great. We definitely plan to return, and we highly recommend Lidia's!
I ordered the Chicken Lemonada which was cooked to perfection. The sauce had just the right amount of lemon and garlic. Our group of 10 were seated promptly and our server was a delight. Always smiling and checking in on us at all the right time. The decor is beautiful with dark woods and white tablecloths. The chandeliers were made of blown glass with an abundance of colors. Food and wine were great, true to the Italian tradition. The food order came extremely fast! The server was attentive, polite, and helpful.
Small shortcomings: I was not impressed with their bread at all. It was spongy and cold. At other Italian restaurants in town, bread has more density, feeling and tasting more Italian, and is served warm.
Also, secondary service (water refills, etc.) could be improved.
