“this place had such a cozy wind down vibe, perfect for a night cap or post dinner drink! they have a beautiful bar filled with records, jazzy music, and a bunch of 4 person tables inside. outside they have heaters and benches or tables and are able to seat a larger party.
we arrived around 8ish on a saturday night and it was packeddd. unfortunately they don't take reservations so the inside tables and outside tables were all in use when our party of 5 arrived. they were able to seat us at the outdoor fire area though. it was a chillier night so we sat pretty close to the fire and it was pretty smoky. they did provide a blanket outside though!
although we were seated basically completely away from the other tables and people, the servers were very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. we ordered the dirty martini, all night company (banana espresso martini), femme fatal and the hoshi zora (the lavender matcha drink). the Hoshi Zora was my favorite! very smooth and despite the lack of color it has very good flavor, a little more expensive than i was expecting for the size of drink you get but i liked the vibes enough i would come back for special occasions.“

“Honestly, I was super excited for trivia here and dinner with an out of town friend, but the experience was unfortunately disappointing for our group. One friend ordered a Reuben and was given a turkey club instead, the turkey club I ordered had no turkey on it (literally none), and of the three people who ended up turkey clubs - the bread was completely different for every single sandwich. Another friend and I both got side salads, hers did not have the toppings but mine did. Just a lot of inconsistencies.“

“First time at Eddie V’s and it won’t be our last! Food was delicious. We had the lobster bisque, the salmon, and the filet with the lobster tail. *chefs kiss! The sides were so tasty! The crab fried rice is a must! What made it even better was the service we received from Bruce. He was fantastic!“

“Celebrated a very special birthday tonight at one of the best sporadic visits! When we arrived, the entrance was a literal art gallery- and the staff ushered us in immediately. Faith was our waitress and she was amazing! The atmosphere is incredible and the music is fantastic! A visit worth remembering !“

“I have been wanting to try Nighthawk for a while now and after dinner at Town Company was the perfect opportunity. The space feels both large and cozy thanks to the decor and lighting. The music was lively and the drinks were fantastic. $3 for a small basket of spiced popcorn creates a great snack to go with the post-dinner drinks.“

“This place has been my "go-to" when I first started exploring KC as I first moved to Kansas City, that was in 2019. It is now 2022, I do not have to constantly go there for the staff to recognize me, they will listen to you when it comes to ordering drinks, music requests, and my favorite NYE moment was at Throwback. Don't come early, don't come late! The best time to enjoy this place is 10pm-1am in my opinion. The staff does not throw you out, they make sure you have somewhere to go even though that should never be a concern for yourself. Go there if you'd like to have a fun, accepting, cool, and nonjudgemental environment in your corner!“

“Easy to get in and met your host to get you set up in your private party room! The karaoke is easy to use to select song requests using your phone. Our host got us instructions on how to use it, brought us water and any drink orders. Fun place to go with friends! No appetizers were available, so be prepared to eat beforehand. We were allowed to bring in our cupcakes for our Birthday girl, so that was great.“

“Apart from needing 2 different elevators to get here from the parking garage, this place was really nice. I don't get out much; honestly it gives me anxiety. I got here during a time when it was completely empty and got to chat with Sarah the bartender. Eventually, my party arrived and Sarah did not disappoint. She was attentive, caring, honest and quick. I can only hope she's there the next time I go! The Espresso Martini was delicious. The burger was amazing and the fries were so crisp and crunchy. Looking forward to taking my husband for Date Night, however it worked perfectly for our Ladies Luncheon. Make reservations as people do come in!“
