This place has been my "go-to" when I first started exploring KC as I first moved to Kansas City, that was in 2019. It is now 2022, I do not have to constantly go there for the staff to recognize me, they will listen to you when it comes to ordering drinks, music requests, and my favorite NYE moment was at Throwback. I don’t thinks it’s Throwback’s fault for the recent shooting that happened. Now days you can’t have fun anywhere cuz mofo’s with low Self-esteem think they have to pull out a gun and start shooting cuz they can’t figure out another solution for there own personal problems. I find it kind of odd they want to close this place down and I feel like there something more behind it. It was alright not my favorite spot, bouncer over charged and when it was brought to his attention he made it straight, but another bar staff came up and asked if we paid...that was shady
