The Campground was on my list of places to visit when we first moved to KC, and I finally made it in this past weekend! I love the overall vibe, it was such an intimate and well decorated space. I got the burger and split fries, and both were exceptional! I also got the Quivering Forest cocktail, and it was outstanding. I have already been recommending The Campground to everyone I’ve spoken with since visiting, and will definitely be back in myself
I've waited a few weeks. Still kinda disappointed. Cocktails were great. Ty. Pork was great, husband happy. Ty. Fryer was down...oh well...happens. Sourdough starter was burned...not charred in that fun campfire way...and the bread? Hum. I can't imagine it was made in house. Consider taking this one off menu or, well...bake. Cuz the "rye" on the "reuben" sure wasn't. I love y'all for trying this...or did. But the mushrooms weren't...
It is always a great time. Amazing food and cocktails with extremely knowledgeable staff. If you haven't come for their holiday market in December, make sure to sign up for alerts as it will remind you of the small markets in Europe.
