The Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Show - Kansas City, MO

The mystery itself was great! Neither my wife or myself were able to guess who the murderer was. I enjoyed getting pulled into the show, and watching others get out of their comfort zones as well! The food was average, but we weren't there for the food. The only thing that knocked the show down a star was one of the guest. We had an extremely drunk gentleman at our table that was eventually asked to leave. I understand this is totally out of the production teams control, however, it did cause us to miss a lot of what was happening in the beginning of the show. There was no apology made to our table or any of the guest. It is for this reason I subtracted a star. I would still recommend the experience, and we will probably try another show in the future.

Was disappointing overall. Thought this was going to be higher end than it was. Came across goofy and silly vs interesting and fun. Left 1/2 thru. Although it cost over $200 for 2 of us we just couldn’t sit thru the silliness any longer. Just wasn’t for us. Good was banquet -type, average food. Whole thing would be worth $25/pp not $100/per pp in my opinion. .

It was great fun! I was afraid it would be one of those audience things where everyone gets humiliated, but not so! You are included in figuring out the killer but you are not picked on! Thoroughly enjoyed it!!!

This was a lot of fun! Obviously a good part of that was the people I was with, but the event itself was a fun mix of comedy, and, well... comedy. It was a murder mystery, but a funny one. Highly recommended.

It was alright, they tried to get the audience involved. Not much by way of mystery more leaving giant gaps in a plot line having an QR code take you to a few clues and a Scooby doo twist at the end. The portions were very small not bad tasting just not enough. The drinks were expensive for lower tier liquor. We had fun but the little old lady’s at our table made it more enjoyable.

Loved how they incorporated members of the audience who had no clue what was going on.

I attended a recent performance with five friends and had a blast! It is just pure fun and something quite unique for a night out.
