The Rieger is an historic place; the hotel opened in 1915. The menu is not extensive and changes seasonally. But the menu has items you don't often see such as sweetbreads or stuffed lamb's heart or rabbit sausage. The menu is divided so you can order a couple of smaller plates or have an opener and a full entree. Our waiter, Ryan, was very helpful in explaining the menu and offering suggestions. Our party of six ordered a variety of items and the courses arrived together...
One of my top 5 restaurants in the world. The open kitchen is astonishing to watch as they build dishes that always surprise and delight. The staff are also delightful - always helpful and attentive and pleasant. Highly recommended.
I believe his name was Gus. He was the best bartender I have ever witnessed. Cocktails were fantastic. He was a true professional, very serious about his craft. We will definitely be back.
