“We stopped in while passing through on our way to Hannibal, MO. We weren’t expecting the bake shop to be open yet, but decided to take a chance — and we’re so glad we did! The friendly owner graciously invited us in, even though the cinnamon rolls weren’t quite ready yet (which we completely understood). Not wanting to leave empty-handed, we picked up a loaf of banana bread instead.

We each had a generous slice with our coffee once we got back on the road, and it was absolutely worth the stop. Delicious! We hope to come back someday to try those cinnamon rolls — they smell like they’re worth the wait!“

“Krispy Kreme, Duncan Donuts, or any other mom and pop donut shop I've ever been in couldn't hold a candle to this place. hands down the best damn Donuts I've ever ate🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 sweet Al's Donuts are better when they're 3 days old then other places Donuts are when they're fresh!!! 5 stars isn't good enough for the place.“
