“Excellent authentic Chinese takeout takeout only but you get what you pay for plenty of food lunch meals come with egg drop soup with crunchies and crab rangoons or you can say no soup and get extra rangoons and it's the real deal they keep all the Chinese students at the college a taste of home close by

“We were there around 11 this morning and had breakfast. Food was great! I wanted to say that our waitress, Jessica, was exceptional! She was fast and friendly. I noticed when she wasn’t waiting on customers, she was checking people out and sweeping the floor! Give that young lady a raise! We were both impressed with her!”

“We called ahead to order and picked up about 15 minutes later. The order was 100% accurate and they even gave us some extra donuts. Everything tasted good.

“Finally decided to drive all of the way across town for a hot chocolate with whipped topping. Get to my office, no whipped topping. Figured it was a fluke. Just tried it again and stressed I wanted whipped topping. Like an idiot, I didn't check until I was at my office. Again, no whipped topping. Not going there again. I'll brave the line at Starbucks because it's closer and I get my hot chocolate the way I order it. And I clicked would not recommend, but apparently it didn't like that.”

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu is available and there are plenty of options. Cross contamination is usually ok for me and I’m pretty sensitive but may not be adequate for someone with celiac

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking spots are a little narrow and there really should be a few more. Inside the accessibility isn’t bad. Plenty of tables as opposed to booths and staff are usually fine. Tables have a big leg in the middle that may get in the way of chairs with big footrests”

“LaPa has the most delicious street nachos! I live 1.5hrs away and find myself craving them all the time. If they ever decide to bring their food truck to CoMo, I'd go broke 😁”

“An item was accidentally left out during a door dash order. It happens everywhere, not the end of the world. When I returned with the missing item, I found this note.

Some restaurants would dismiss a customer as soon as they hear 'door dash'. But nope, this team went above and beyond and touched my heart. It wasn't even about the additional items...a handwritten note is most sincere communication.

Whoever was running the evening shift on Sunday, November 3rd is a genuinely good person.

“First time dining here and it is a beautiful location! Young man that waited on us was very pleasant and prompt, although he did cuss in front of my children when he accidentally spilled some water while topping us off. My husband and I chuckled and this but someone else may have been upset. The portions and taste of food were very much in line with pricing with the exception of the desserts. It was my birthday so I splurged a little and got the carrot cake.(priced at $10.99)To our surprise serving was a slice of cake maybe an inch thick if that. For my main, I got the pulled pork mac n cheese and it was delicious. Overall one of the nicer places in the area and we will definitely be back to enjoy other things on the menu.”

“First visit and will not be the last! Great food, fast to the table and great waitstaff. We ordered a breakfast meal and a salad and ended up bringing 1/2 the salad home it was so big. Very good and great prices. Glad I finally got to try it!”

“This was one of my favorite stops by far.The food was so good the wife got a cheese burger with bourbon bacon jam and I only got one bite of it it but boy was it good.. I got the tenderloin and it was also very good. We both got waffle fries and they were perfect...The young lady that seated us and served us was absolutely amazing she did her job very well...If you are in or around Kirksville or that area I would highly recommend looking the fort up and giving a try, it was probably the best experience we have to date...

“We go here at least three times a week. Our favorite ice cream anywhere. Ice cream is thick and tasty. The meal specials are quite good. The employees at the drive-thru window are always friendly and helpful, especially a man called Nico. Our two big dogs go with us and get a fabulous pup cup.”

“I admire the good food and hard working staff and the welcome given all people of different backgrounds and ages. It's an outstanding and pleasant environment. I would suggest that on very crowded and busy days like today some extra staff be brought in to keep the tables in the back clean, I don't mind sitting in the back, but it can take away from the pleasure when tables next to you are filled with used v dishes. I understand how hard it is for the staff to wait on customers and keep tables clean.on busy days I suggest that extra staff be brought in, Or encourage customers to deposit their own dirty dishes on the rack”

“This was a nice find! We were in Kirksville for the day shopping and found them to be open for lunch. The place was very clean, the staff was nice, and those sidewinder fries are indeed something I favor over anything else we have had in town! We will enjoy this new restaurant and continue to support them to see them grow! This small community needs more people to take a change and offer things for us! We appreciate it!”
