“We needed a hardy breakfast before heading out for arduous work each day we were in Licking. PJ's Cafe provided all of that. Me and my colleagues ordered the regular stuff - eggs, breakfast sandwiches, bacon, pancakes, biscuits & gravy, etc. All were good and portions were plentiful. The coffee was the second best we had on our 9 day trip from Licking to eastern OK. As you might guess from the lack of reviews, the clientele is older and, I would guess, mostly local. A local enforcement officer, sitting by himself, asked for the usual. Heads turned the first time we came in to eat. The second time, a man I would guess was part owner or manager came into the back room, where we ate, and asked why we didn't come back for dinner the first night. That was great! The back room was host to a large table filled by regulars each day. We recognized them, too! One older gentleman had on a confederate hat the first day and came back open carrying two guns in a belt holster the next day. He was harmless and added more color to this down home cafe. I'd go back if I ever get back. Loved the mixed-masonry of the school district and church that was across the road from the school.“
