“I suddenly realized that after eating at BLK almost once a week for years, I had never written a review for them. The quality of their salmon/tuna poke bowls and burritos are some of the best I've ever had, and compares favorably to poke places on the West Coast. The burrito is over-stuffed with deliciously fresh ingredients, with a variety of flavors. I did try other places in STL, but they often compensate for cheaper fish with excess sauce; this is not the case here as, even without adding sauce, the poke is delicious. The staff is always nice and makes you feel right at home!”

“We love going to Mauhaus. The cats are very well taken care of and it shows. It's a nice relaxing area to hang out with kitties, have some good coffee and a light pastry. We recommend to all of our friends.”

“Start with the Pork Belly Cheese Fries! I highly suggest the DLT sandwich with tater tots. Be sure to save room for some macarons. A staple in Maplewood: the staff is friendly, the bar has some great offerings, and the food is delicious. I highly suggest making a second trip to try brunch - you can't go wrong with Eggs Bene-duck.”

“Living Room has THE best coffee and breakfast in St. Louis. But that’s just what gets you in the door. What keeps you coming back are the amazing staff, inviting vibes, excellent work stations (for those of us who wfh but need to have people around), and community engagement. Seriously, they have the best cortados, seasonal drinks, and bacon. But they are also vegetarian and vegan friendly and have a great selection of teas and other drinks for weirdos who don’t drink coffee. I love knowing that visiting LR means my money is going to a family-owned small business who invest in their community and put people over profit. 10/10.”

“It's truly a diner. Straight back, counter only (no tables/booths), dive place kinda vibe. The owners are the employees and provide great customer service, smiling, laughing and talking easily with everyone there. It's cash only, but the simple menu is amazingly delicious.

This place seems to only get better. Having not been able to be there for a while, they still remembered us, the fact that we were on vacation and the like. Can't recommend it enough.”

“The burger here needs more hype- definitely top 5 in St. Louis. The apple cider vinegar aioli was an original take on a burger sauce and right up my alley.

We also had the pretzel and beer cheese for an appetizer and we both thought it may have been the best pretzel we'd ever had.

The brewery itself is a super clean and nice location with great beer options. Servers were awesome too. 10/10 experience.”

“Very delicious. Fresh. You can tell the grease is fresh for the fried foods. I had miso something with pork. So very delicious. My grandson had a ham and cheese sandwich. Very good with French fries. Large portions. I also had crab Rangoon yummi, and spring rolls. So fresh. I ordered by phone and picked up. It was packed well. No spills for the ride home. Served 5. Reasonable prices. Love this place”

My husband had black pepper beef , two of my kids had chicken pad Thai , and I had the nam tok beef. The portions were generous too. We will be back for sure! Definitely recommend this place!”

When I indulge, my absolute favorite is their lavender honey latte, the most soothing and relaxing drink I've ever savored. I adore their avocado toast, which may require a pinch of salt and pepper, but paired with eggs, sun-dried tomatoes, onions, and their other delectable options, it's a match made in heaven. Their breakfast sandwiches featuring herbal cream cheese are a game-changer - incredibly delicious and deserving of accompaniment with every order. The service is exceptionally friendly, kind, and welcoming, with the female owner being an absolute gem. She showers my dogs with love and attention, mirroring the top-notch care she provides to her customers. Undoubtedly, this is the ultimate coffee haven in Maplewood.”

“Saint Louis Kitchen is my go-to restaurant for Chinese takeout. The portions are generous and the food is always good. I recommend picking up your order for maximum freshness, but I've never had a problem with delivery. Maplewood is lucky to have so many great places to eat, and Saint Louis Kitchen is one of my favorites.”
