“This place was recommended by numerous travel sites. I came here to try the best of STL. I was not disappointed. I've tried numerous custard companies (see my reviews) and Ted Drewes is one of the top spots I will recommend from now on. I tried their chocolate, mint, banana, and vanilla. I liked it all!

They have lots of free parking spaces available. All wheelchair accessible. Be ready to fall in line during busy hours. Don't forget to visit their souvenir store across the parking lot.“

“We ate at La Belle Vie this morning and were amazed at the portion sizes, how well seasoned everything was and the cook on our food. The coffee was delicious and they even make their own chai which is the best we’ve had at any coffee shop. We make our own and are quite picky and would absolutely order again! We are self proclaimed food snobs who have catered small and large events with everything made from scratch. This is now one of our favorite places and we’re so happy to have found them. The service was friendly and helpful. We met the owners who are absolute gems and their staff exudes the same happy, friendly attitude. Must try. Must go back again and again. “I was on lunch break was told food would be done in 10 minutes. waited 30. got back to work very late. To top it off the food was disgusting. I'm not sure if there was even a burger patty provided. what was om the sandwich was an over abundance of mayo and mustard like I guess I ordered a mustard and mayo sandwich. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. A REFUND IS WANTED. 27 DOLLARS FOR 2 BURGERS 2 DRINKS AND 1 FRY AND THE PLAIN CHEESEBURGWR HAD ONIONS ON IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO. “I’ve ignored this place over the decades, assuming it was a typical dive bar. A friend assured me the food was great and I should try it. Understatement! Believe it or not I’m a hypercritical person but I could find no fault at Michael’s. During both of my visits, everything everyone ordered was cooked and seasoned beautifully. So far I can highly recommend the Greek salad (standout among the large number of Greek salads I’ve tried), the rack of lamb and the galaktoboureko - a house-made dessert consisting mainly of a fluffy custard and phyllo dough. Even the side vegetables and rice were wonderful. The beer and wine selection was good as well and I wrote down my wine to look into buying a bottle. The many servers were extremely busy and professional and our server Amy did a helluva job. Large rack of lamb with sides, entree-sized Greek salad, two beers, wine and dessert for only $80 -which for the quality of our dinner was quite a bargain. Generic name belies quality cooking and serving! Pass it on!“

“The Port of Peri Peri should be first on your list of dining establishments to try! The atmosphere is inviting, and they treated me like family! Their grilled (never boiled) chicken was to die for, and they catered the spice level to my choice, and even brought out some of the sauces to try before I made my selection. This restaurant's owners/managers are very passionate about giving back to their community and feeding those who are hungry. If you have a love for exquisite food and passionate people, you need to go and check them out pronto!“

“My sister gifted my husband and I a gift card for Xmas. She works for three kings in south county another establishment with the same owners. The food and atmosphere at Three Kings is so great that we were thrilled to see they’d opened a Mexican restaurant as we love tacos! Just from walking up from the partying lot, I knew it would be great! The outside dining had lots of themed touches that were really nice! Soon as we walked in we were greeted and told of our wait time. we really appreciated that the hostess took our number and called us when our table was ready. We ended up sitting and waiting, we like to people watch :D the decor was gorgeous! I loved the succulent chandelier, the floral walls, the ceramic and the mosaic touches! All of their establishments are inviting and really create a nice atmosphere! Our server Charlie was friendly and knowledgeable regarding drinks and food! We each had a delicious margarita! The chips and salsa were fantastic! My husband ordered a smothered burrito and I opted for a taco plate. I was very impressed with the amount of options on the food especially for health conscious people- vegan, gluten free, etc! I loved that I could mix and match, I had a Baja fish taco and the vegan chorizo. Both were amazing! The slaw on the baja taco was sweet and crunchy! This was my first experience with vegan chorizo and it was the perfect amount of spicy! The plantains were delicious and basically became our dessert! We over indulged too much and skipped dessert, but we will be back soon so that we can order the Churros! Highly recommend checking out Tres Reyes and or Three Kings if you haven’t yet! “This was such a cute little family owned restaurant. While it looked like most people picked up for delivery, you can eat in and they give you paper plates. We ordered the popcorn chicken which had fried basil in it and it was so unexpected and delicious! My littles loved the stir fry noodles. Also unexpected was what they called Chicken Chili stir fry! The pork belly melted in our mouths!! Absolutely delicious. We will be back“

Said we could sit at bar but all tables in bar were taken! Freezing cold inside, put 7 of us at a table that would hold 10-12 people had to scoot down to other end to try and get warm. Food finally arrived way later than those around us! No one in the rest. hardly but we couldn’t sit at a table till 4:00. Not very friendly about it! Food not impressed with! Will not go back, done!“

“This place is actually really good. The bread they bring out with the olive oil is good. The seeds on top of the sliced bread pairs really well with the dipping oil and even gives great texture. They have homemade pasta which is always a plus. The lobster rigatoni is really good. There is a spice to the dish that's complimentary. The chicken parm was really good and completely unlike any other chicken parm that I had. It was almost like a fushion or Italian parm mixed with an Indian curry sauce instead of the traditional red sauce. Surprisingly, it worked though. I would rate the Chicken Parm a 8.5/10. Portion size was good, and the flavor fushion was awesome. The location is great, and the overall layout of the restaurant is clever with it's mirrors along the wall to create the illusion of a bigger restaurant. Go check this place out.

“Traveling from NW Indiana my wife and I stayed a couple nights here and made it to the bar for a couple night caps after our days of enjoying the town. Each evening Jennie K was our bartender and needless to say she’s AMAZING! Her drink knowledge and bubbly personality is a quality trait hard to find these days. She’ll dazzle you with her knowledge of Triple Sec! Highly recommend you stop in here if you’re in the area. We’ll definitely be back.“
