Friendly spot. Like Cheers... Everyone knows your name. Good home cooking. Monday chicken buffet today but different special each day. Ran out of chicken and plates for a few minutes. BusyKid-friendliness: Plenty of families there.
They have good specials. I really like there fish sandwich on Friday but I don't recommend their tenderloin sandwich. It's super thin and over cooked. It's as big as a plate but it's hard to eat. I had the bacon cheeseburger and really liked it. I would go back again. Just avoid the tenderloin sandwich.

BKs has really good chicken. The seasoning is perfect. The quality of the chicken is very good. Waiting staff was friendly and did well attending to us throughout our meal. They're always busy, but the food always comes out hot and delicious. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a place to eat in Monroe City.
