Food is ok, it was edible but I was not impressed and could have gotten something 10x better for the price. I got a veggie burrito that’s supposed to have beans and rice but there’s hardly any, it’s mostly peppers and onions. Salsa verde was good but the red salsa and the chips are terrible. They taste like soap, flowers, and a little mildew almost like the restaurant has an old mildewy smell that leached into the salsa. I’ve never been in the restaurant, today was delivery so I’m not sure how the place smells but that is definitely what the salsa and chips aftertaste reminded me of. They were the worst I’ve ever had at a mexican restaurant. I will not try this restaurant again and I’m not sure how they have so many good reviews.

The food was amazing! Very flavorful, huge portions, and great price! I would highly recommend going here, the burrito was huge!

Amazing Food! Worth the wait!!!

Review as of June 2026. Coming here has further reinforced my sentiment that the some people in KC cannot distinguish between good food and bad food.

This place has 4.5+ stars and I honestly don’t understand how it’s rated so high.

I saw one review where the person mentioned they forgot the meat in their burrito. Initially I’m skeptical, but after ordering the burrito grande, I understood what they meant.

The burritos are big. They’re big because they fill it up with a bunch of the fillers (rice, lettuce, onions) but literally 2 pieces of chicken. The grande burrito is supposed to come with both chicken and steak apparently, but I literally got 2 small pieces of chicken. The entire burrito was essentially all rice and lettuce. How can such quality warrant over 4 stars? I am appalled. This is the 4th restaurant in KC where I’ve seen over 4.5 star average reviews with below average quality food.

What else is interesting is that the burritos grande is advertised to be $14.99 but it rings up as $15.59 (check my photo). I don’t care about the extra 60 cents, but it’s the principle behind what they advertise vs what they practice that makes you lose trust in establishments like these. I mentioned this to the person ringing up my order, showed the the photo and they just said “I don’t know, do you want me to cancel?” Caring service.

We have been to this location twice now and both times our food has been messed up. We were there yesterday I ordered three different burritos two out of the three burritos had no meat on them at all. Not a little meat absolutely zero meat. I ordered the chicken fajita burrito and a steak burrito and neither one of them had any meat. The visit before that was two weeks ago when we ordered two breakfast burritos with no onions and no jalapenos and both breakfast burritos came with onions and jalapenos. We will not be returning especially after yesterday.

It was our first time to try this place and it good! Chips come with every burrito and the guc is chunky. They were busy with take out orders.

Nevia is very nice and very professional. And made the food while waiting very quickly. Food is amazing. Definitely recommend.
