“I was visiting Kansas City for a conference and my Pops took me to the classic blends, cigar and coffee lounge! This place is a whole vibe! Great owner, great bartenders, and a great array of cigars. They even had a lived band the Friday night we went. I will definitely be back and appreciated the good time!“

“Honestly, I was super excited for trivia here and dinner with an out of town friend, but the experience was unfortunately disappointing for our group. One friend ordered a Reuben and was given a turkey club instead, the turkey club I ordered had no turkey on it (literally none), and of the three people who ended up turkey clubs - the bread was completely different for every single sandwich. Another friend and I both got side salads, hers did not have the toppings but mine did. Just a lot of inconsistencies.“

“Small hole in the wall bar,does not serve food. Good place to go for a drink and chill, shoot pool. The vibes are good, everyone and the daily customers there are awesome to be a round. Everyone, gets along with each other coming in. Like the Bartender, she is a great person. I haven't been in a couple weeks and when I came back in she remembered me and what I drank! I've done this before to other bars but they don't remember me. I'm glad my friends and I found this bar.“

“This place is one of the few bars I've been to that feels genuinely relaxing. The atmosphere is incredible with vintage decor, there's often live music from touring and local musicians, and ample space to sit and talk. The staff is fast, friendly, and kind. “Staying at the Hilton Presidents Hotel in downtown Kansas City we stopped by the Drum Room located on property and accessed via hotel lobby or its side entrance. Good and atmosphere were so good we ate there 2 times. Started with Fried Goat Cheese and Beet Salad and finished with the KC Beach Burger with garlic fries and Meatball Farfalle pasta dish. All were amazing and didn’t venture far on our second visit and skipped the salad as the 3 items were way too much on the first evening. Second evening we shared a bottle of Sav Blanc from N.Z. Amazing.“

“Had a wonderful time at Otaku Lounge! My boyfriend and I stopped by (a little early on a Saturday night - 5pm 😅) and had a wonderful time with our Cowboy bartender chatting all sorts of anime! “The vibes of Nighthawk are great. It’s a very fun place to go to end a night out with some moody lighting and live music. Only downside is their seltzer options. They only have their own house made seltzers and the ones my group tried really just tasted like a mix of fake sugar and perfume. Would much rather have just a high noon or even a local KC Quirk! They do have a full bar so I would honestly suggest just getting something else to drink while you enjoy the music and ambiance!“
