“I had lunch here on Saturday with my kids and a friend, and everything about the experience was exceptional. The food was great and the prices are surprisingly affordable, especially on the kids meals. But the service was phenomenal. They brought fresh pita bread out once we sat down, and more when the kids asked for it. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and they are clearly working hard to give everyone a great experience. Meddy's is a great addition to Brookside and we look forward to returning soon.“

“I've been hearing about this place for over a year. I'm sad today was my 1st time going.Cute place. Very helpful and friendly staff.I wanted to try a little bit of everything. I'm very impressedI tried:Baba's Falafel sandwich. YES!Baba's Fries. I usually don't eat fries, they were recommended. The seasoning on these are awesome. If you like fries, get these!Torshi. Delicious.Hummus. Nothing special but great texture and very enjoyable.Pita bread. Lovely, great pocket pita.Pickled Turnips. Great!Shatta. Yes! Yes! Yes!Goat Cheese Balls. Shut the front door! I've only eaten 1 of 4. I'm already planning my next trip to buy more!Baklava. This may be the best I've ever had. Super flaky, very sweet without being fake sweet, great nut flavor. Total win!Baba Ganoush. Only fail. I expect baba ganoush to be roasted and smoky. The only thing I could taste was the olive oil (which is great, nice and fruity. Great olive oil) I'll try it again next time. But this time there was no flavor.10 of 10.My only regret is I haven't been before. Will be going back alot.Vegetarian options: Most of the menu is vegetarian. I only saw 3 meat options. Most everything is vegetarian.“

“I didn’t get a great picture because the food was 1/2 gone before I got around to thinking about doing a review. Lol. It was amazing. Food was fresh and homemade!! The falafel was the best I’ve ever had. Hands down. Lentil soup was amazing. Hummus and Baba were great. The service was excellent. They also offer a selection of fresh squeezed juices, and freshly made juice drinks. I had the mint lemonade - it was obvious that she squeezed the lemons and blended it with fresh mint, water, ice and sugar. Delicious. One of those meals where you walk away feeling full, satisfied but GOOD. Even the pita - was served hot - fresh grilled, with a seasoning on top. Yum!!“
“Best falafel wrap in the city. Incredibly delicious chicken gyro. And for $7 each?!? It's like some kind of beautiful dream.Plus: a great Middle Eastern grocery selection! The people who run it are super nice, too. Just a win-win all around.Do yourself a favor and get some food here!“

“One of the best dining experiences I have had in Kansas City. The food was AMAZING. My only regrets are that I did not have more room to try more dishes and when I come back I'll have to decide if I want to try new dishes or get the amazing ones of already tried. They make one the best old fashioneds I've ever had. My wife got the Keylime Me Softly, which was an amazing drink made with pisco and tasted just like key lime pie.“

“I cannot express how happy I was to see that this place was still open more than 20 years after my first visit. The food was every bit as delicious as I remembered, and the service was genuine hospitality. Definitely try the Jerusalem style gyro, the mint tea served traditional style with fresh mint leaves, and you must get the kunafa - it is the one that I judge all other kunafas by.“

“The hummus and grape leaves are the best I’ve ever had. I wish I could give 7 stars. I also had the falafel, babganoush, bread, salad and sautéed veggies. Everything was wonderful but that hummus, y’all! The people working there were very friendly, the food was pretty as well as delicious! As a vegetarian I really appreciate the quality and selection of the vegetarian and vegan options. The decor was very pleasing; the walls were covered in dozens of small, beautiful, unique canvasses each depicting a colorful scene, landscape, still life, etc; that connects to the cultures of Mediterranean region who’s people have given the world, among other things, this delicious cuisine. It had a homey feel that I really enjoyed. A+ experience. I will be returning soon!Vegetarian options: Falafel, hummus, sautéed veggies, Mediterranean salad, babganoush, dolma, pita.Dietary restrictions: I’m a vegetarian and the options here are wonderful!Parking: Parking was a non-issue.“

“Good pizza for a good price. I tried getting them delivered through grub hub one night but apparently they delivered to the wrong house, so this night I decided to do a takeout order. Pizza had a nice crunch on the bottom and the toppings were fresh“

“Came here twice and have loved every experience. The first time was obviously on a walk home after some drinks. We ordered the lamb/beef combo gyro and chicken tenders with fries. All was tasty, fresh, and hot. Pita bread was soft, and lamb/beef was seasoned and cooked to par.The second time, I strolled in at midnight and ordered a lamb/beef combo with fries.Fries both times were fresh and best yet unsalted. Gyro was just as good as first time. These guys are on par with Jerusalem Cafes truck.Edit- 3rd visitPhilly cheese steak was really good, but not enough portion to justify price.“

“We loved it! The hummus was amazing, and I would order that every time I go from now on! I had the lamb biryani, which was amazing and perfectly seasoned. We also had the falafel, lamb shawarma, and the chicken kabobs. We will be back to try other items on the menu and soon! Ohh and how can I forget the baklava, it was perfect not loaded with syrup like some others I have had in the past.“

“My favorite middle eastern restaurant. Nationally recognized and delicious lentil soup, great baba ganoush, nice hummus with a green chili sauce, good dolmas, etcThe Jasmine's combo is hard to miss. The cauliflower zahra is also quite good.Great options whether you're looking for some veg fare or not.Features: Dining in is open.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian and vegan friendly dishes. They generally know what you mean when you order vegan. They will make the Jasmine's Vegetarian Combo vegan - by removing the feta and Krass Pastry and adding a little extra of something else.Really good Middle Eastern food, on par with Holy Land Cafe.“

“I've ordered several times through a delivery service, and it's almost always perfect. It's not traditional gyro or sauce really, but it's dang delicious to me! I especially love the caramelized onion hummus and the za'atar chicken. I also love their white sauce, because I'm sensitive to cucumber. So traditional tzatziki sauce is something I have to be careful eating. Add the olives to anything, they're yummy too.Vegetarian options: The falafel platter is really good. We add baba ghanoush, olives, and hummus to it, yum.“
