Excellent food, excellent service. I ordered the half-sleeve sammich with pulled pork and brisket, it was fantastic! Highly recommend.
Brisket very tender and well seasoned. Burnt Ends, the Best!! Brisket baked beans, plenty of meat, right amount of heat with slight smoke aroma! Very tasty!! The French fries are batter and the right crispy and crunch! Don’t miss the Cornbread muffin! So tender! The Iron District is an Awesome atmosphere!

Tattooed Hog BBQ is a hidden gem tucked away in the middle of an industrial area alongside several other food vendors. The staff is friendly, amazing, welcoming, and helpful with suggestions. The food is delicious and outstanding. The brisket is tender, moist, and well seasoned. The Burnt Ends are the best. The ribs, pulled pork, and brisket sandwich are all fantastic. The Full Sleeve Brisket Sandwich with fries and cornbread is outstanding, with a roll toasted perfectly. The pork sausage may be some of the best ever had. The fried pickles are cooked perfect. The pickle fries, Mac and cheese, beans, elote corn, brisket baked beans, and French fries are all impressive. The brisket baked beans have plenty of meat, the right amount of heat, and slight smoke aroma. The French fries are batter and the right crispy and crunch. The Cornbread muffin is so tender. The portions are huge, though the portion on the meat was disappointing for the price. The overall portion was good and comfortably full. The location has plenty of parking and a variety of seating options, including covered areas for shade and protection from sun and rain. The Iron District is an awesome atmosphere. This is some of the best BBQ in KC.
