This place a hidden gem. Park is beautiful, spectacular lake view, tons of walking and hiking trails, picnic areas..We went there mid September, it was very quite, relaxing atmosphere, especially the Grand Glaize Beach is beautiful..

My family and I swam at the beach here and had a really nice day. I suggest wearing water shoes though. The sand is more like crushed rock pieces. My 3 year old was still able to make sand castles with it. The swimming area is roped off, so you don't have to worry about boats.

Overall it was a decent resort. The garden area was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful! Had a few kinks with our key working when we first got there, and the super nice maintenance guy came up and was super friendly and helpful. Everyone who worked at the lodge was super nice! The rooms were pretty decent. I loved the views. It was a great experience. My only complaint would actually be I couldn't get my thermostat down past a certain degree and slept a little warm.
