“We go to carters everytime we are in town. But I had been wanting to take my boyfriend to the Palmyra location so that we could sit inside and enjoy a coffee shop. It wasn't like the last time. I assume they were having a staff meeting or creating plans for the new place or menu. Something. But they were taking up the counterspace and made it odd to get to the drinks we ordered. I will just go back through the drive through at one of the Quincy locations.”

EFB’s coffee is extremely smooth, delicious and the atmosphere was amazing for the small amount of time I was in there. The barista was extremely friendly. “We discovered this gem of a coffee shop during a weather induced stopover in Quincy on our way from Chicago to Oklahoma City. The proprietors, Margarita and Bill, were warm and welcoming and regaled us with tales and history about Quincy, Mark Twain and the surrounding area. The coffee was excellent as was the food and we were charmed to have found respite there when most other shops were closed due to the weather! The decor was homey and rife with green plants and local art. We will come again!”

Avoid the Tiramisu version of pizza though. The artichokes cause the crispy crust to be soggy. They should probably come up with a different recipe for a signature pizza.”

Our server was efficient and helpful.
We arrived too close to closing (1:20 pm) to get the fried chicken. She said it takes 20 minutes to cook. It's good to know they make it to order.

I had the open faced roast beef sandwich with brown gravy and potatoes. It was just what I expected. The roast was tender and delish. It comes with cole slaw and no substitutions. That's okay. The coleslaw was AMAZING! We both thought it was the best thing on the table.

My wife had eggs, a biscuit, hash browns and gravy. She could finish it all. The gravy was good. She thought the biscuit was a bit too sweet. I did not.

We would be happy to return to Logue's and we will.”

“We celebrated my wife's birthday and everything was great! We both ordered steaks and one had some gristle to it but they were cooked perfectly to our preferences. The Steak fries were fantastic and we also received a complimentary dessert for her birthday!”

“Met the owners on a random stop in. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft. Fantastic cocktails with very good spirits. One of the best Vodkas I’ve had along with a great bourbon. When I visited (11-18-24) they had an amazing Apple Pie moonshine. I cannot recommend them enough and would definitely say they are worth a detour. We were in on a Monday and were told they do music and have food trucks on weekends. Always a good practice to call and verify this though! We will be returning in the future.”

“Hard to put this in a short sentence. Absolutely amazing staff and ambiance. The food is music to the taste buds! I've had a few different appetizers and entrees and each one of them had a wonderful authentic Italian taste. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I recommend eating at Maestro's!”
