“If you know me, you know I LOVE my food, I love to cook, and im pretty darn good at it. So for my birthday, Stacie Brooks Armstrong took me to Cole's Hearth Room in Palmyra. I had no idea this place existed until a few weeks ago. All I can say is WOW....from the cocktails to desert everything was incredibly on point! Ive never had anyone make a better creme brulee than mine, until tonight! Superbly impressed! Thank you so much Stacie for a great evening!“

“Last night (1/31/26) was our first visit, and we loved it! Our family of 3 ordered 2 appetizers, entrees, and desserts, plus 3 drinks from the bar. All were cooked perfectly, hot, and superb. It’s obvious the chef is well-trained and brought his A-game to work! Gage was our waiter, and he was personable, friendly, and attentive without being over the top. We really enjoyed him! “I’ve been hospitalized with a non-life threatening condition for the past week. Today was unusually warm so I asked to be allowed to go outside and breathe some fresh air. Two nursing assistants pushed me in a wheelchair and pulled a tank of oxygen out of the lobby and I was free. We walked down Broadway to 12th street where I caught the whiff of Maid Rite in the air. We were lured by the beautiful neon blue arrow. I only had enough for a Dr. Pepper but the smell alone was enough to inspire me to get well. I love the Maid Rite!“

“This is a nice family restaurant. Open 7-2 daily. They serve breakfast all day.

Our server was efficient and helpful.
We arrived too close to closing (1:20 pm) to get the fried chicken. She said it takes 20 minutes to cook. It's good to know they make it to order.

I had the open faced roast beef sandwich with brown gravy and potatoes. It was just what I expected. The roast was tender and delish. It comes with cole slaw and no substitutions. That's okay. The coleslaw was AMAZING! We both thought it was the best thing on the table.

My wife had eggs, a biscuit, hash browns and gravy. She could finish it all. The gravy was good. She thought the biscuit was a bit too sweet. I did not.

We would be happy to return to Logue's and we will.“
