Wonderful little hole in the wall restaurant. The only reason I rated this joint 4 stars instead of 5 is because the skillet portions seemed a little underwhelming. Sure, $9 for a skillet + biscuits or pancake or toast is a great deal. However, whenever I’ve gotten skillets at other restaurants the portions are generally a lot larger. This skillet was served on a plate instead of a large bowl. I will certainly come back though, the flavors and service are amazing!
Gotten take out twice so far from Reyes. I was pleasantly pleased both times, the first time I got a delicious breakfast burrito. You pick your filling with these, and that was a really nice option, I chose sausage and peppers to go with the eggs and cheese burrito. It was a 5 out of 5. The second time I got fried chicken, it was fast. Only took them 15 minutes to make, and was perfectly cooked. Crunchy skin while moist on the inside. This was our first time to eat at Reyes. The fried chicken and 3 sides were delicious. We will definitely go back on Friday or Saturday for all the catfish we can eat! Our server was very nice also.
