Great diner close to Elephant Stone park. Many fish and meat options, soups, sandwiches and kids menu. Cobblers and ice cream for desert. And you can walk away with hand made items or paintings from the local artists.
Just ate at the fdc for the first time. I was in a group of about 25 people after a funeral.The restaurant was short handed and still made sure that we were well taken care of. They have a very clean facility across the street from historic fort Davidson. It was cold out at the time, but they also have a nice outdoor patio area. The only negative I could say about the place was their restroom. It was clean and well stocked, but there is only one unisex restroom, and in a group...read full review

I got the meatloaf and mashed potatoes and it was delicious! The potatoes had a tiny bit of garlic in them and were so good! The rolls were soft and flavorful! Definitely coming back!!
