Extremely salty shrimp scampi—-the pasta was horrible. The server replaced the meal, and it was worse. My friends’ pasta dishes were too salty, also. Inedible, gross food.
Always great food never been disappointed! Lasagna, wings, pizza, and salad always good.

Based on the reviews, Castello's Italian Restaurant in Poplar Bluff, MO, is a higher-end spot that is excellent for a date or a road trip stop. The location is very accessible from US 60. The food is amazing, with specific mentions of the supreme pizza, tropical salad, tuna, and shrimp and veggies being fantastic or very good. However, some dishes like the chicken were overloaded with seasoning and very salty, and D's lasagna was mostly sauce. Service can be perfect and patient, but some experiences were disappointing with a server who had an attitude and unprofessional behavior. The restaurant is a little pricier but worth it. It is recommended to go when in Poplar Bluff and to ask questions before finalizing the order.
