“This location has always done a great job at being consistent and accurate with my orders. Picklemans is a solid sandwich chain, they have a lot of sub sandwiches to pick from. I personally love their Italian beef with spicy gardenia peppers. They have a fantastic bread that’s soft and delicious. They also have great peppers here and you can get a jar of them too. My wife really loves their meatball and she just won’t try anything else. I have also tried their buffalo chicken sub and well anything else that’s spicy and love it all. We also very much enjoyed their pizza. The service here is usually fast and efficient and well everything hits here. Also the service is generally polite and friendly. The location itself is a decent size, they have space to dine in and plenty of parking in their shopping center.“

“This was the first Lion’s Choice I ate at probably around 40 years ago. This particular spot has always been my favorite although I frequent many St Louis area locations. “I ordered my usual sandwich with mustard (both deli and yellow) and oil and vinegar, but unfortunately, it was completely soaked, to the point where the bread was falling apart. While I can understand how that might happen with all the sauces I requested, it was still a bit much. That said, this was otherwise one of the better experiences I’ve had! The staff was friendly for the most part, and the food was tasty despite the soaked bread. I also asked for extra pickles, and they really hooked me up, which I appreciated!

One suggestion: the owners should consider providing more thorough training for their employees and ensuring they’re treated well. Overall, I’m grateful for the effort the staff put in and would return.“

Despite subway bacon being nothing more than 'Bacon-Flavored Post-It Notes’, I’ve been adding bacon to my sandwiches since 2006. My 'Sandwich Artist' applied the mayo with the chaotic energy of a Jackson Pollock painting, though lightly sprinkled on lettuce like that viral “salt sprinkle guy”. I left with my sandwich that requires three napkins and a shower. I spent $15 on a loaf of bread that has the nutritional value of a gym mat, and I’ll probably smell like a Sweet Onion fever dream until Friday. Was it worth it?
