Drove on out to St. Charles after calling to make sure they were open.
They took good care of us with the usual great food and service. They said the Florissant stores owners retired. A note on the door for your faithful patrons would of been nice….

“Food was good, they didn't have our pre order for our party so we had to wait, our 1st waitress was nowhere to be seen, our 2nd waitress...outstanding, atmosphere was good u till the drunk guy smashed his cup on the floor and glass went flying everywhere, aaaaand they let him stay, not sure how that was acceptable for any establishment.“

“Watched Mizzou football bowl game there. Food was fine, Cesar chicken wrap Betty good. Waitress very busy but provided good service. Lots of TVs but overall place was a little dark.

“Went on a Saturday evening at the Mid Rivers location. Wait time was around 20 minutes. Host was friendly. Waitress was wonderful, interaction was great. I had the Bourbon Street Ribeye. Compliments to the cook that was on that evening. Came out sizzling and cooked perfectly, one of the better steaks I've had in a while.

“I had lunch at Halftime yesterday and the food was wonderful. The special of the day was a Smashburger, homemade chips and a salad. I also shared some southwest chicken rolls as an appetizer. The southwest chicken rolls are always great, but I really loved the Smashburger and homemade chips. The chips had a really tasty seasoning on them. Apparently, this meal was a special only and not on the everyday menu, but it should be. Everything was delicious and our server was great.“

“The place was packed! Only saw one waitress working the whole place. Sheri was like a little tinkerbell, remembering my name and what I liked to drink. Food service was a bit slow but under the circumstances, I was pleased I got what I ordered and it was hot. The band was fun and encountered a welcoming atmosphere. Please give Sheri some good juju and hang on the best employee you have! First and last impressions are very important in the business. She made the night of my friends birthday party! “In town for a tournament for my daughter's hockey team and had a smashburger and a cold beer and let me tell you it was awesome! It is kind of pricey but you are paying for convenience. I don't mind paying extra money for quality food It was great“

“We're always looking for someplace new, and locally owned, to have a late lunch. We were nearby, so it came up on a Google search. The people, including the owner, were very nice and accommodating. We will probably go back, but it would be a sure thing if the smell of smoke wasn't so heavy, even though there were no smokers present. Once they opened the door, it was better, but they could use more ventilation. That being said, the food was awesome and very reasonably priced.“

Matt, Satchmo’s owner, was here and mingled with us like any bar/restaurant should. As a chef, this tells me volumes of how he runs his establishment. I religiously order the pork green chili(which is phenomenal) and the fish and chips were to die for, exactly how I like it. This place is the quintessential neighborhood bar!“

“I notice when going in most girls are sitting at a table or at the counter by the door however I would like to point out there’s one waitress her name is Asia that is always busy doing something there wether it’s cleaning waiting on tables or whatever needs to be done she is always working on something not sitting around. Most of the reviews on here are definitely accurate. I typically try and sit at the bar just to get in and get out however last three times bar was full Rori waited on us twice did a great job Amber once it did take her awhile to get going and to figure it out but ended up doing good.
Next time I’m in if Asia is in since I haven’t sat in her section I’ll skip the bar and request her section!!
